Hi Guys

My BF and me are off to sunny Orlando in November (the weekend after Thanksgiving, following a few days in New York). We are staying in the Clarion Universal mainly as it is a budget hotel and we want to save monet to SHOP!!!!!

We mainly are going to be visiting Universal, but I do want to go to MGM for TOT and RnR. Does anyone know if this hotel offers shuttle buses to Disney, or if not how much is a Mears shuttle or similar? I know I could get the Lynx bus from Seaworld to the Ticket and Transportation Center but I want my BF to experience Fantasmic and the return lynx buses stop running at 10.30 making the timing impossible.

Also I know this hotel isn't luxury but any info would be gratefully received including the type of room to request.

As ever - Thanks - V

We stayed 2 years ago and found it to be very comfortable. Request a room poolside with sliding door. Taxi to universal was $5 for towncar didn't go to disney. Shuttle service was pretty regular also. The poolside bar was not open in March but all other amenities were available. Several places are within walking distance and the I drive Trolley service is nearby. Small giftshop deli was very expensive--pick up some snacks and keep in fridge in room--food in restaurant was good not too pricey--ask at front desk they have many menus for delivery places --often we had food delivered poolside. Pool is pretty large and 2 jacuzzis were availalble. Nothing fancy but adequate.

Thanks for the info :) I can rest now knowing I will have a good time.
