Sorry- made a new thread as the other that I posted on seems a bit outdated -

so please forgive my confusion ! We are booked to MCO ( from jfk) on July 14 ( RT)

Booked on 1/18/20

Trip totally up in air ( especially if travel restriction to FLA not lifted )

So, if JetBlue doesn't cancel the flight and we had to, I can't get a refund, correct ?

Funds would go into a travel bank? ( thought I saw on their website it was good for 24 months? ( think I saw 18 on this thread) - no refund option ?

If JetBlue cancels, is there still no refund option , and still goes into travel bank ?

TIA for any help !

Yeah, if *you* cancel and you booked a non-refundable fare then they will probably only give you a travel credit. However if *they* cancel you are entitled to a refund per DOT regulations.

If you cancel, they will give you some kind of travel credit. If you call, they'll know the details.

If they cancel the flight, they will refund your money to original form of payment. We had flights in June that they canceled & refunded. At first they sent an email that just said here's how to get your travel credit", no mention of refund, but when Ai logged into my JetBlue account, it directed me to a survey asking me how I wanted to be compensated: travel bank or refund to original paymeny method. Naturally I chose the latter, and had my money back in a week or so.

You are entitled to a full refund of everything (flights, seat upgrades, baggage fees), if they cancel the flight. Accept nothing less. It's the law.
