Can someone give me some info on CL at AKL? Did you save money on the dinning plan? How are the rooms? Would you do it again?

You get daily Mousekeeping with turn down service, worst room views at Jambo, snacks, finger food, continental breakfast, soda beer and wine, and an area with tables, chairs, and a couple of sofas.

Worth doing at least once for a short stay, we won't be doing it again.

There are only five two bedroom lockoffs (studio combined with a one bedroom). So they go quickly and pretty much must be booked exactly at 11 months out.

Three have a blocked savanna view. Two are pool view. At least one if handicap accessible.

"Been there done that" three times, and I'm not going to attempt it ever again unless there is a new safari that is only accessed via staying CL. The part that really makes it "worth it" is the ability to book the sunrise safari. As others have mentioned, the views are less than spectacular from the CL rooms, and while the finger food is nice, you have to get there right when it is brought out to actually get any of it. I don't know about the rest of you, but when I'm at Disney, I'm not inclined to sit in the lounge "waiting" for a little free food. Just not worth it in my book. I'll take a Kidani savanna view over CL any day.

The food isn't "free" it is paid for by the AKV owners and you paid for it with the extra points for your stay there. :goodvibes

We have done it several times and will gladly do it again when we can! The view if you get the ones on the savanna side is obstructed by the roof (we've only ever gotten the savanna side, but one time we were bumped to the 5th floor).

We never go out for breakfast when we are there and love the hot quinoa. Our teenagers love the snacks the rest of the day.

The concierge staff is great too. Aside from the discounted sunset and exclusive sunrise safaris, they can book all your adr's if you wish.

If i were staying at CL and failed to make any ADR's before arrival, can the concierge CM's still get me any ADRs I want or is it still based on availability? In the past when the dining website showed no availability i was able to get an adr by going up to the resort front desk and securing the reservation that way.

In my experience, the CL staff have a pretty good chance of getting hard to get ADR's.

I have done the CL twice with one more booked. Will do it again, when we want too. All three booked at less than 7 months out.
The breakfast is very good and we have always found it plentiful.
The snacks throughout the day are just OK - cookies, chips, beer, soda, milk, water, and fruit
The evening food is enough for DW and I for our evening meals.
The late evening has multiple desserts and drinks including all the afternoon drinks plus wine, beer, scotch, wiskey, and a couple others.
