CL and dining reservations question

Can the CL staff get dining reservations for us I cannot make on-line myself?

If you are meaning whether the IPO can get a reservation that is showing as unavailable on line then unfortunately, the answer is no.

The IPO doesn't really have any more power than you to get a reservation. They can certainly keep checking for openings for you though! :goodvibes
 
It depends but sometimes yes.

Last year I tried to get a reservation at the California Grill, without success, the BC IPO telephoned the CG manager and they sat me at the open kitchen.

I have also had success with the CMs at the BWI, I wanted to eat at the Flying Fish, again no availability online, one of the CMs called down to the FF, spoke to a Manager and they found a table for me.
 
I would give it a try. Also, some restaurants, like T-Rex, will show not available on Disney website system, but if you call the restaurant directly, they will set up a reservation for you.

Also, if your party is very large (like 9 or more) you have to call the place directly. For example, Tutto Italia can't accept online reservations of too high a party count. I called Disney reservation center, and a CM confirmed that I had to call directly, gave me the direct number, and I got a reservation for our large party. That Tutto Italia dinner was one of the highlights, by the way.
