We are going to be at US/IOA at the end of Sept. (Sat-Tue) Are there long waits for the restaurants in CityWalk at this time of the year? We would be eating dinner there each night around 7:30, will I need reservations or can we just walk up? Thanks:)

The last weekend of September is opening weekend of HHN so the waits should be fairly long. Sunday through Tuesday should be OK but you can check at the information booth at CityWalk when you arrive and make the reservations then. Here's what the booth looks like:

if you are staying onsite at UO, you can use your hotel key for priority seating.
you will still have a wait but nothing like the others will have.

We will be traveling Aug 13-19
Is your room key good for priority seating at all the resturants? Thanks

I have only ever made reservation at Citywalk once, and we are always there in July. We usually go to the restaurant we want to eat about 30 mins early, if there is a wait we just add our name, most times we have always got a table within 5 or 10 mins. If you know the time you want to eat make the reservation, we usually went at different times ,never a set time.

at most they are. the date you are going has no effect on using the perks of the hotel key.
check the city walk website for details.

also as another poster/rpbert1 stated, you can walk up and make ressies in advance at the booth.
metro showed the pic of what it looks like.

if you walk up before 7:30, your wait in line will be less.

7:30 to 8:00 is a very popular time to dine at city walk.

Macraven, this is our 3rd trip staying onsite, have never used the room key for a table as we are usually seated pretty quickly.
But do you just show the room key at the door when asking for a table.

on a busy night, i show the person out front that is doing the wait list my hotel key.

that person will have another list for the priority seating.

when i do hard rock cafe, you are usually seated within 10 minutes when you show the hotel key, or all access card they promote.
others that are stand by could have a wait up to an hour at that place.

evening time and weekends are when you might encounter the waits.
during the week and at off times for lunch and dinner hours are not bad at all.
