Citywalk access question?

Hi, i'm just wondering... is it possible to visit citywalk without a park ticket? we're being picked up from universal by a friend in their car... but they don't have a park ticket, and since we've never been before (and neither have they) we're having trouble working out how to meet up to be collected. Citywalk (hard rock cafe for example) seemed like an ideal choice because it's easy to find, but then we thought...can he get in without a ticket?

You don't need park tickets to enter CityWalk. You walk through CityWalk to get to either Islands of Adventure or to Universal Studios. Unless you get picked up by your friend at the Guest Drop-Off area, your friend will have to park the car in the Universal parking lots and then walk over to CityWalk to meet you. It's not like there's a parking lot right behind Hard Rock Cafe! If they park the car after 6 p.m. there is no charge for parking.

Universal charges the regular parking fees during HHN since it's a night time event. If you're going to be there on a night when HHN is not going on, then it's free. After HHN, there's no charge after 6 pm.
