I know City hall hands out an array of things upon request. I just wanted to see if there are any that might help our trip be a little more exciting/special.

Here is a list of items I have heard you can request:
Buttons (many different sayings)
List of names of carrousel horses
handicap entrance guide (I drive an ecv)
recipes (I don't know of what ... ?)
List of penny machines and locations

Any other fun free handouts ??

Okay, okay (not exactly on topic, but...) - "Documents"...That's right, documents....in front of every ride at Disneyland/DCA is a sign that says (summarizing) if you would like to view documents relating to the safety of this ride - you can ask to see them at City Hall...DD12 (at the time) thought it would be funny to actually go to City Hall and review these much ballyhooed "documents"....well, at the end of a long day - on our way out of the park - I finally gave in and got her on video reviewing said documents....quite hilarious....years later - it's still one of her favorite memories...

They dont have a print out, but you can find out which characters are scheduled for appearance and where you can find them.

This is one of the only things I would waste time going to City Hall for.

Recipes. You can get information about all the food in the park there.

Of course with work you can find it online.

I really want to get the gumbo recipe and pick one dessert recipe to try my hand at. :woohoo:

I believe they have a book that says what kind of plants are throughout Disneyland.

And you can also visit to report a CM that did a good job! Again, you won't get anything from it but a warm feeling, but you totally can. :)

Thanks for the tip! The carousel is my absolute, most favorite ride! I'll have to do this on my next trip.
