Hi All,

DW, DD (2) and I are staying at BCV October 23-29 and have to book our final night's dinner. We are torn between the Wave, Citricos or Jiko: can some of you veterans please help?

Many thanks,

Joe:confused3

I would definitely say either Citricos or Jiko, and I think that Citricos edges out jikos by a nose. The Gateau of crab at Citrico's is to die for, as are the desserts. And you really can't go wrong with any entree.

I have been to all three restaurants and I completely agree with Faline. Citricos have great food and wonderful service. The desserts are also excellent. We also like Jiko, but given the choice, prefer Citirco's. Our experience at The Wave was just adequate.

Had fantastic meals at both Citricos and Jiko this past week.

For us, I would probably give the edge to Jiko, just because we love their appetizers so much. I'm not a big seafood person, and if you don't like seafood the Citricos appetizer offerings are really lacking. We ended up having the arancini, which were just ok. Jiko, on the other hand, has some great appetizers. If you love seafood or are going to skip the apps, go Citricos.

We've been to all 3 and Citricos is our top pick. Our kids DD15 and DS11 have chosen Citricos for a return trip 3 years in a row. DH and I ate at Jiko a few years ago and loved it. The kids will be trying it for the first time on our trip next month. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these restaurants.

We also did The Wave on our last trip and liked it, but not as well as the other 2 restaurants. On our next trip we will be trying The Wave for lunch rather than dinner. The kids obviously liked it or they wouldn't have picked it for our lunch choice. ::MinnieMo

My favorite of all the Disney Restaurants is Citrico's.

Agreed!

I like Jiko a lot too, but I think Citricos is the best signature.

Haven't been to The Wave though.

We have dined at all three and would rate them in the following order based upon the overall dining experience (service, food prep/quality/ambience):

1. Citrico's
2. Jiko
3. Wave

Citricos and Jiko are my favorite two restaurants, and The Wave is great too! I would definitely choose either Citricos or Jiko though. Both have great food and excellent service. The Wave has good food, but it is an interior restaurant so there aren't any windows.

For a special meal, I really enjoy Citrico's and Jiko a lot more than the Wave.

We love Jiko's! You can't go wrong with Citrico's either though!
We'll be trying The Wave for the first time in 3 weeks - it's not a signature restaurant, so I will go in expecting to enjoy my meal - but I don't expect to be blown away.

IMO The Wave was great. Classy, quiet and u felt like u were actually eating at a fine establishment without the IN YOUR FACE WDW hoop dee doo. :thumbsup2

+1 for Citricos, just came back and had an amazing meal there. The service was fantastic too.

Tried Jikos the night before and it was great too. ate 2 appetizers and could not manage more, the desert was just so so.
