Yeah! Just got the okay to make plans to visit Disney in September for our 20th anniversary. First vacation without the kids in 20 years!!!

I want to surprise my husband with Cirque tickets as we've never seen the show. A friend told me not to get tickets close to the front as you miss a lot of what is going on all over the stage. Is this true? I don't want to be so far back that the people look like ants either. Any seating suggestions from those of you who have gone? Thanks!

We had category 3 seats and they were perfect! Most of the show was at eye level for us. The theater is really small and there really aren't any bad seats.

Yes, that is true.

All Cirque shows are best seen from the higher seating level/s. Cat 2 and 3 for La Nouba are great. Much of the performance is high up and if down in tier one, quite difficult to see. You may see some of the performers, but miss the show when down low and close.

We have seen it 3 times and by far, we thought the best seats were the front row. We didn't feel that we missed anything but we were able to see the performers' expressions and the winks they gave to those of us who could see them.

I didn't think the seats we had the other 2 times, including the front in the balcony area which many consider to be the best, were bad but we loved those front seats.

This show is a must see....there really aren't any bad seats.

We were one row from the stage when we went. We could see everything. The people that swing on the ribbons of cloth flew right over our heads. The biker came right down the isle next to my DD.

When they finished a tumbling run or act you could see the performers breathing heavy and they were looking right at us.

I don't see how you could sit too close.

There really isn't a bad seat in the house. I have seen the show from Cat. 1 seats and Cat. 3 seats. I liked the Cat. 1 seats better, IMHO. I didn't feel like I missed anything by sitting too close (in all honesty I think that is really just an excuse the people who don't want to spend the extra money to sit close tell themselves to justify not spending the extra money). The theater is not that big so it all depends on where you feel most comfy sitting.

We had Cat.2 seating in the middle of the theater. I knew it would be a once in a lifetime splurge so I bought the "middle of the road" tickets and we loved our seats. Not so close that we had to tilt our heads up all the time but we still felt like we were right there in the middle of the action. Looking around the theater, the only seats that might be considered bad would be the ones on either end of the theater and even those would be alright. If you can get anywhere in the middle 2/3 of the theater, even Cat 3 seats would be great.

We were in row 1 of cat 2 tickets, they were great.
