Hi

This will be my first year attending Cirque du soleil. I've heard so many great things about it. For those of you who have been before. Where is a good place to sit for Category 2?

I've gone to the website and looked at the seating chart and I've put in a ticket request just to get an idea of what is available. The have some seats on the main floor just slightly to the right of the center section and they have seats in the upper center section. I believe around section 205. How is the view? I really don't want to pay for category 1, if I can see just as well in Category 2 seats.

And you know its nothing like your first time

ANY SUGGESTIONS???????

We've been to the show several times..MAGNIFICENT!! It is true there are no really bad seats. Much of the activity happens in the air above the stage so being in the 2nd section is good. We had front row seats once (not at Disney but their stage set up is the same for all shows) and I was so excited but then had to slouch down in my seat and crane my neck up to see above me. At disney we've been in both levels and I think the 2nd section is just as good. I would avoid being too far to the far edges just because you get a partial view of the audience on the other side instead of a more face on view. But don't feel you need to be very center..it's really the just the farthest edge sections that give that effect. Go for what's best for your budget and you will enjoy the show no matter where you sit.

I've never been to the Florida Cirque, but I did see the Las Vegas show. We were in the second level, towards the center, and I'm glad we were there instead of down in the first level. A lot of things were going on towards the ceiling. We had really good seats. I think you'll be ok with those seats. Have fun! :D

Thank you everyone for your replies...I"M JUST MORE EXCITED THAN EVER NOW TO GO AND SEE THE SHOW. And I see they had some seats in the 2nd section about 3 rows up. :p

Where did you book your tickets and were you able to select the seats that you wanted? We are heading to Disney in May and the more I read about Cirque the more I would like to see it. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Hi

I went to their website cirquedusoleil.com. At the very bottom of the page click on tickets. Pick La Nouba, on the next screen midway click on online.

Hope this helps

I have read several posts that state that there are no bad seats at Cirque. And that most of the performance is in the air, so I saw seats in category 2 on the first level 3 rows from the stage.

Will I feel the neck bender effect from looking up so much, to the point where I may need to consider moving to the 2nd level. Or will the first level be okay???????????
