I love planning, really I do. But sometimes I get caught up on the little details and can't make decisions. We are going to go to Cirque du Soleil on December 6, which is a Saturday. We will eat at Portobello Yacth Club either before or after the show. And, that's the decision I can't make. Should we go to the 6 PM show and eat after, OR go to the 9 PM show and eat first?

I say eat first and go at 9. I know it is easier for me to truly enjoy a show when my stomach isn't talking!!!!;)

I agree. We're going on 9/20 (Saturday) to the 6pm show, and then dinner afterwards. I don't want to be distracted by a rumbly tumbly.

Thought I'd throw another option out there...

Eat first (late lunch/early dinner), go to the 6 pm show then go for dessert afterward.

Thanks everyone. I think we'll eat first. We are going to try Portobello, under new name. DH has been wanting to eat at a DD restaurant. I'm glad everyone pretty much agreed.

DH and I went on a whim on a Saturday night in May. Walked up for the 6pm show and got amazing seats(w/an AP discount). We had a cocktail and shared some popcorn during the show and then had a great dinner with window seats at WPC after. A completely unplanned evening that wound up being perfect. Have a great time whatever you decide.

we are eating at Ragland Road first... then going to the show after... can't wait for that day! It's one of our "relaxing" days so the morning will be free for whatever we want to do... then we see Cirque that night! woohoo!

That's exactly what I was thinking.
If it ends up being an early night, It makes it easier to get up first thing in the morning to enjoy more of the next day.
