Absolutely, one of the best shows on property!

Where do you get your tickets?

I usually just buy them on the Cirque website. You can buy them at the "gate" but it's better to buy in advance.

Where's the best place to sit?

There's no "bad" place and it depends on the type of experience you want. But anywhere in Cat 2 would be fine.

1st time we saw it I didn't enjoy it, saw 'O' in Vegas didn't enjoy that, said I wouldn't do another Cirque show but Karen enjoys them. Last August Travelzoo had discounted tickets so I decided to go again to please Karen. This time really enjoyed it, maybe beacause I had not paid full price. I know many love it and pay full price but to me its not worth that much, I paid £35pp last year for seats 203 Row: GG Seat: 10, 11& 12 which were perfect.
Blue man group is more my kind of show.

Ahh, I do think you tend to be a Blue Man Group person or a Cirque person. Personally I went to BMG once and the only expression that came to mind was "never again". It was like being at a Universal sponsered rave. Only thing missing was people doing jelly shots off of each other!! :scared1:

But as I've said before, if we were all the same it'd be a boring world.

:rotfl2:

I must be strange then as I love both BMG & Cirque. :thumbsup2

I've seen La Nouba twice & both times bought my tickets direct from Cirque du soleils site. I always try to get tickets in the middle section, block 103 (not right at the front though otherwise you'll be looking up alot.) Or block 204.

We did both last time we went and whilst we thought they were both very good, we enjoyed BMG much more. So much so that we are seeing it again when we go back this time with my In-laws!
I think the problem with Cirque is that so much of it has been ripped off by other groups that you've probably seen on the Royal Variety Show etc. Whilst it's still impressive seeing people doing those amazing feats live, I think we would have enjoyed it more had we not seen the majority of the material before (i.e. when Cirque first began, and before the imitators started 'borrowing' their ideas).
This will only make sense to a very small group of people, but the whole thing was also a bit too pretentiously 'artsy fartsy' for us. As I was watching it, all I could think about was the episode of the TV series Spaced with the performance art people Vulva and Hoover. (Sorry for the vague reference, but I hope that a few of you will know what I mean!)
BMG on the other hand was brand new to us, and I think has more room to be slightly different each time. As for the ending of BMG....WOW!! all I can say is that it was one of the most joyful experiences of my life! I have never smiled or laughed so much since I was a kid :goodvibes

I really want to see this too!! Think i'm going to book it next month :thumbsup2
Thanks guys :)

we love La Nouba - we've seen 3 of the cirque de soleil productions: La Nouba in Orlando and O and Mystere in Las Vegas...

of the 3, our favorite by far is La Nouba... we've seen it 6 times..

as far as where to sit....as long as you're not off to the side, i don't think it matters where you sit..

the first 5 times we saw it, we sat in the 'very best' seats right up in front in the center...and we loved sitting there..

but the last time we saw it, we got the tickets the same day of the show and ended up with seats in the very last row of the theatre....but in the center...
it turns out we loved sitting way up there too...
and considering those seats were much cheaper, i don't see any reason why you should spend more for the close up seats...
as long as where you're sitting is central (not off to the side)..

enjoy!!

Have seen La Nouba 3 times and loved it each time. It is a fantastic show. Cannot remember where out seats where but they were about 3 rows from the front one time and right at the front centre one time - cannot remember the 3rd time, but wherever you sit you can see well.

We booked the tickets directly with La Nouba office as I asked for specific seats.

Have fun

Tina
