Would you recommend cirque for 13 and 15 year olds? Do you think the girls would like it more then the boys? THANKS!!! :sunny:

i think both would like it..it's not the typical circus...very pretty and gracefully athletic but very up to date also.. we loved it and it is amazing what they do so i think boys would be amazed also

This is NOT to be missed and ALL ages will love it. It even has a BMX bike in it and other cool stuff to wow your teen- guy or girl!

My teen son has seen 2 Cirque shows and loved them both! I liked La Nueba better than Mystere is Vegas.

I'd like to know too. I have a teenage boy(15) who still tolerates Disney, but likes mostly thrill rides and victoria's secret models(lol). Will he think this is lame? Thanks!! :sunny:

They will LOVE IT!! Trust me. Everyone, boys or girls, will enjoy it.

Both my kids loved it! BUT, a funny aside...
My DS, 12 at the time, during certain parts of the show, would start to squirm uncomfortably from time to time. After seeing him half-shield his eyes for the 3rd time, I turned to him and asked what was bothering him. He pointed to one of the characters on stage, who was wearing some clingy gold lame' shorts and walking around with his pelvis thrust forward in an awkward pose, and whispered, "Mom, that is just so DISTURBING!". Other than that, he found the show amazing.

HIGHLY recommended for teens or tweens- boys and girls alike.
It is so cool. My DH and I loved every minute of it.

When we went to Vegas Sept 2004 (to visit grandma), we took ds 7 and dd 12 to Cirque's "Mystere" show. My ds enjoyed it for the most part and my dd said it was fantastic and the best show she'd ever seen. Upon our return home she raved about it so much that her friends parents went and saw it.

I would recommend Cirque to anybody at any age. There is so much to see that it still boggles my mind. Next time we go to Disney we are going back to see it again and see what we missed the first time we were there.

this show is a must see! I have 2 girls, 9/13. They have seen several Cirque Du Solei (sp?) shows and their favorite show was La nouba. The girls were intrested throughout the entire show. After the show, we went to Ghiradellis, and had ice cream. My girls have grown up in a gymnastics enviroment, so maybe that is why they appreciate the talents of the performers so much. My girls also thought it was very exciting to do a "grown-up" event, getting to dress up fancy, princess: go to dinner. Try looking at the web site~sometimes you can see previews of each show~ Hope this helped

I think La Nouba is particuarly kid-friendly. It is actually my least favorite Cirque show, but it's still a great show, and I'm glad we went... it's just that those things kids (especially boys) would really like... like all the bike tricks, and I think there were roller blade tricks, too... don't appeal to me. I'm more into artistry and acrobatics.

Lol... gymnasticscoach... I just noticed your nickname. I'm a gymnastics judge... which is undoubtedly why I like the trapeze, trampoline, etc. so much more than the other stuff.

My DS (10yrs) & DD (17yrs) have both seen it a couple of time & loved it. :teeth: It's a unique show that seems to be enjoyed by everyone. The audience always seems to be filled with people of all ages. ::MickeyMo

The first "circus" show that my 6 years old daughter saw was a Cirque show :) She enjoyed it immensely.

i was 18 the first time i went and i loved it, still do. i see all age groups there and both genders. it's just a great show. the guys will love it because they have this really sweet bike trick in it.

First time i saw it, i want to say that i was 16. Im a musician so i really loved the music parts of it and stuff like that.

Im willing to bet they will like it if you havent seen anything like it. I was in awe.
