Cirque du Soleil experts - Please help?

We have never done this show before, but are interested in doing this on our Oct. trip! Should I go ahead and order tickets before our early Oct. trip or can I just get them before the show? What is the best show time, I have a ds6. Are there any discounts available? Where is a good place to eat beforehand? Thanks for sharing your advise!

I've always ordered ours as far in advance as possible, but I don't know how often the shows sell out. Obviously, the sooner you order the tickets, the better seats you will get. So if you're sure you're going to see Cirque, I'd order them now. As are as show times, I don't know that one time is any better or worse than any other.

I would suggest going to the earlier show if you're taking a child. The later show is just too late for kids.

There are lots of restaurants in DTD, but we usually get something quick -- like hotdogs -- and the get popcorn for during the show.

There are some dates in October when the show is dark (i.e. the troupe is on vacation) I think it's just a few days later in the month, but you don't say when you're going. Check that out so you're not disappointed.

Just thought I would share what I found out about tickets. I did try the cirque web site to order tickets. I tried different dates and times and just did not like the seats available. So, I called Disney directly and got better seats. Moral to the story, try both the web site and calling disney! I know that all seats are good, but I wanted the "100" section.
