Has anyone seen Delirium by Cirque du Soleil? If so, how would you rate it compared to other Cirque shows?

I've seen Mystere and Quidam and will be seeing La Nouba in 16 days. I loved the shows that i have seen, but Delirium looks more singing-ish from the website. Add that to the fact that it's a travelling show, set up for only 2 show/city. Is it worth paying the Cirque du Soleil price for Delirium?

Thanks folks!

We have seen La Nouba (our favorite!), O, and Mystere so we were excited to get Delirium tickets. My DH and I did not go (he had just had 2 cardiac stints put in and was not up to going) but we gave our tix to very good friends who took our son. They also love Cirque and live theater.

Everybody HATED Delerium. Lots of singing, only 2 or 3 decent circus-type acts. It was very long and they were actually falling asleep. That was not easy, either, because we had 6th row seats! Of four people who went, none of them liked it or could remember anything special.

If you are looking for a show like LaNoube or Mystere, don't expect to get it in Delerium. If you enjoy vocals with great sets, you may like it.

Thanks for the reply. I was really excited to hear that Cirque was coming back to Calgary but thought it was really odd that they'd only be doing 2 shows. So I looked for a preview on the Cirque website and it didn't seem to have too much in the way of people bending in freakish ways or dangling from high things or lifting up things 10 times their size. I wasn't sure if the preview didn't do the show justice so I figured I'd ask on here. I was pretty sure SOMEONE would have seen it. I guess I'll save my money to spend on disney souvenirs instead! THANKS AGAIN!

Another disappointed Cirque du Soleil fan. I bought my tickets BEFORE consulting with fellow DISers. Shame on me!!!

My DH and I had completely different views on this one. We lOVE Cirque. This one is definately different than any of the others. Delerium is My least favorite of 4 that I have seen. But, DH says it was his favorite. He liked especially the technology used on the big screens, which was phenomenal. I personally didn't like the words added to the music--kinda ruined the magical experience to the whole thing. Also, the story was impossible to follow or at least went way over our heads, which drove me crazy, but DH wasn't bothered by that. Different strokes, I guess.
