Not sure if this is the right thread, but here it goes.

I was looking at Ticketmaster.com for some Cirque tix. A choice for price was "Florida Resident" which I am, but the drop down showed the same price for either, resident or not.

Is this a FL resident discount period? And if $87.55 is the discount rate, what is the normal price?

Thanks ahead of time for any answers.

I don't think that is much of a discount,, I am going in two weeks, and for the more expensive catagory 1 it was $82.00 per person, before tax,, and the catagory 2 areas were $72.00 per person before tax. I booked directly thru Disney. Ticketmaster will add a fee to tickets you purchase thru them.

I booked my Cirque tickets through Disney last month for November and pd $82 for category 1 before tax and shipping were added on. Shipping was minimal. I did buy one child's ticket that was cheaper...I think somewhere around $47 if I remember correctly. In my research for tickets, I did not see any FL resident (or any other) discounts.

ok something wackey is going on with the Tickemaster computers.

This is what I booked yesterday...seats & prices listed.

Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba
Cirque du Soleil At Downtown Disney, Lake Buena Vista, FL
Thursday July 31, 2003 9:00 pm
Seat location: section 104, row B, seats 4-6
Total Charge: $204.55

Pretty awesome seats ! so 204.55 (minus $15 for 3 people service chrg) (minus $2.50 ticket printing, I print my own)....that leaves $184.55. Divide that by 3 = $61.50.

So today I go back to buy some more, getting other family members tickets. NOTHING comes up for lower level.....only 205 EE and those tickets are $76.88 plus $5 service.

I forgot the price so I JUST went back and looked and now it shows those same seats 205EE for $61.35 plus $5 service.

Twilight zone!!

Well I guess if you are looking Cirque du Soleil tickets and want to save a few bucks. Try putting in the FL resident option. GOOD LUCK.

We are going to the show during September and I was wondering how close can you park to the Cirque show and how much time to alot to drive there from the polynesian resort.
Thanks
