On the way home from a recent "World" vacation, DH and I were talking about childhood memories. We both vaguely remember a circlevision attraction at Magic well before EPCOT was developed. He thinks it was at the Hall of President's; I think it was something in Tomorrowland (just can't remember what though). We are also thinking the time frame was mid to late 70's or very early 80's.

Can anyone here help us in this memory dilemma? TIA!! :flower3:

Depending on the time frame, it was either America the Beautiful or Magic Carpet 'Round the World. Both were displayed in the Tomorrowland Circle Vision Theatre, which was located in the building where Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is now performed. I say "depending on the time frame" because the two movies switched off during the years they were displayed:

America the Beautiful (November 1971 - March 1974)
Magic Carpet 'Round the World (March 1974 - March 1975)
America the Beautiful (March 1975 - September 1979)
Magic Carpet 'Round the World (September 1979 - September 1984)

In 1984, Magic Carpet 'Round the World was replaced by American Journeys, which ran until January 9, 1994. It was replaced by The Timekeeper, which ran from November 21, 1994 to February 26, 2006.

As for Hall of Presidents, it was an opening day attraction and no other attraction has ever been located in its space. :)
