A friend of mine just gave me a dozen Cinnabons because she knows I love them and because I'm going to my DD's on Monday, Jan 2 and I will bring them for us all to enjoy.
The packaging says "do not refrigerate" but I'm wondering if I could/should freeze them so they'll be good to eat on Monday (which is 4 days from now).
Thanks all!

Well, I've never frozen Cinnabons before, but I have frozen 'Cinnabon copies' that I make, and they defrost great! I just take them out of the freezer and leave at room temperature until we're ready to eat them. Then I cover with foil on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven just until heated through (or eat them room temp.)

You know I would call Cinnabon and ask. I wonder why you can't refrigerate them. Sounds odd.

Thank you all for your replies.
I took a leap of faith and I did freeze them. I'll be defrosting them and bringing them to my DD's tomorrow.
I think they'll be OK.

Original poster here...I'm just going to let anyone who would like to know that freezing the Cinnabons didn't hurt them at all. I took them out of the freezer hours before I was going to use them and also heated them briefly in the microwave before serving. Delicious!!!!

Aren't they mostly butter??? Not sure why freezing would ruin them.

I was just concerned about freezing because it says "Do not refrigerate" on the box so I wasn't sure what freezing would do to them but as I said they were soooo delicious!!

I can't imagine that refrigerating them would be harmful. I think it's just that they don't require refrigeration and it would dry them out and make them less desirable to eat.

And thanks a lot OP. Now that bowl of raisin bran I'm about to eat doesn't sound nearly as good.
