Last night my DH2B bought a 15 pack of minibuns while we were at the mall doing some last minute shopping for vacation. I had one last night for dessert since I had been good. I really wanted one for breakfast this morning but thought that it really couldn't be good for me. I looked up the calorie count anyway (not that I'm really watching calories but it helps me compare to other stuff in the house). A minibon is about 440 calories with 10 grams fat. I normally have 2 poptarts or cereal (2 serving size bowl) for breakfast. Well apparently 2 poptarts have 400 calories and 10 grams of fat too. Since I would never think twice about eating poptarts for breakfast and have since I started WISH and still have been losing weight I went ahead and had the minibon. I'm not saying that minibons are good for me but apparently neither are the poptarts but they seem to work as a breakfast for me. So this week instead of having poptarts for breakfast I'll have a minibon and that 40 extra calories is not going to kill me. And eating a cinnabon for breakfast feels so much more fun than having poptarts and helps get rid of those sweets cravings. Now I won't be having one for dessert too if I have one for breakfast. That would be overkill.
