Hi all! We are doing just one night at Universal, and I’m wondering if Cinematic Spectacular is a must see? Universal Studios closes at 6 pm that night, while IoA closes at 9. I’m thinking if we watch the show it will be a mad dash of people to take the HE over to Islands. Of course we can walk it. My question is, if we intend to end the night at Islands does it make sense to head over there before CS? We are staying at Royal Pacific and will have EP. also, FWIW, I enjoy evening shows at theme parks.

When are you going that UO closes at 6? Is it during Halloween Horror Nights? If so then there is a chance that since UO is closing that early it might not be showing the Cinematic Spectacular on those days.

Mac, during HHN in the past did the do the cinematic spectacular?

I am going the weekend before HHN begins.

The last year uo did the cinematic spec tabular show, it did not happen during hhn time period

I’m talking about the past show where the movies of the pass had clips on the lake highlighting uo movies

They did the show on the lake after sun set
With hhn set up for all nights except Monday and Tuesday I have no idea if the show will happen those two nights

Probably not is my guess

Here's the current schedule for Cinematic Spectacular:

Sep 7, Sep 8: No Shows
Sep 9 – Sep 11: 9 pm
