Cinematic Celebration in September

Hi! This fall will be my first trip to Universal in 10 years, and we had the Cinematic Celebration show as something we wanted to see. I know the Halloween Horror Nights interfere with that, but will it still run the first week of September before Halloween Horror Nights start up?

Also, do any attractions/rides go down in preparation for Halloween Horror Nights? I've been to Disney loads, and I know that some rides go down so they can get the holiday overlays put on them, but I didn't know if something similar happens at Universal as they prep all those haunted houses.

During hhn, it’s been 6 rides open
No idea if more will be open this hhn season
