I did this offer and never received credit. It was a one week trial. I had to cancel it to not be billed more than I was going to get in a reward. Unfortunately I will not be able to receive payment for it since I already canceled it. Due to this reason...

Message: Unfortunately, we will not be able to dispute it with them. For the most part, our merchants will only look into credits when someone is actually out money for a product or service. If something gets cancelled relatively quickly, they reserve the right not to pay. I am very sorry

I didnt cancel it quickly I used up my free trial......so my advice would be not to do this one. You might not get paid .
 
Boy now that doesn't seem right at all. I have a blockbuster one I have to cancel on Monday and still haven't recieved the credit-$25.00 GC- I hope this isn't true with them because it cost me $$$ to try the trial.

Anyone else have problems with these two?
 
my thing is...the offer stated SIGN UP FOR ONE WEEK FREE TRIAL. I did what I was supposed to do and it said nothing about staying and paying...but no credit :(
 
That is bogus for them not to pay SR so Tricia can pay you. Maybe she can rattle a few cages!!
 

The difference is between things that are totally free and things that cost something to try them. Our advertisers are more willing to look into things when people are out money than when they are free. It's unfortunate. Some advertisers are better than others about giving us the credits. Our Blockbuster advertiser is FABULOUS and always gets back with us when we request credits. A lot of the others....not so good (like the Nascar one).

I've already noticed a lot of rewards programs not even investigating any "free" offers anymore (I don't think TT or Cashduck do). I do file disputes with the merchants but close the trouble tickets because it's hit or miss whether we will get the credits. :( Sometimes they surprise us and we have credits show up weeks later (like the SHoebuy ones that came through today--yea!!). But I don't want to tell someone I can get them credits when in all honestly I don't think that I can.
 
Tricia...in that case...since credit wasn't issued the first time around...can a person redo it like we do on Cash duck? Sometimes it goes through the second time.
 
Im not going to bother doing it a second time. Its OK....guess I will have to be more selective in my offers I choose.

I would. I would do it especially with some of the small freebie offers (like the ones where you only have to put in your email address). Try a different email address, try clearing your cookies, try using your work computer instead of your home, etc. There's nothing that they can say about trying any of the offers again that you did not get credit for the first time except to not give the credit.

Believe me, I feel awful not giving credits out. If this weren't the business that supports my family, I'm the type of person that would give out the credits even when I do not get credit myself (which I have also done quite a bit). But as there is more and more fraud in incentive programs, it gets harder to do that.
 
Completely understand able and I wasn't ditzing SR...I know personally you are very generous. That's way I was wondering if you could rattle cages...lol

Anyway..thanks for the heads up on the smaller offers....I know I really messed up when I started doing these(totally newbie to all survey sites and poor SR was my first) It's great to know I still have an option in doing the lil ones.
