Is it ok to go to Cindy's on 2 different days during your trip.. Are there any rules saying that you can't go to Cindys twice in one trip? I lucked out and got Cindys for a Tuesday and a Saturday would it be wrong of me to go to both?? Not saying I will, I'm trying to decide now what day would be the best, decisions decisions...... Neither one was for my 1st choice day.... I know boo hoo... :) Thanks for you help!!

I don't think there's any rule to say you couldn't. Personally, I would feel guilty if I did two knowing the PS's are hard to come by. I'd be thinking of the family that didn't get to go!LOL;)

I was thinking about it from another angle. Our first trip we had an absolutely wonderful breakfast at Chef Mickeys. My family raved about it. We said it was a "must do" for our next trip. As things worked out, we were able to squeeze in another breakfast and frankly it just wasn't the same the second time in a week. Maybe there's some truth to the expression "you can never go back". Now when I think of Chef Mickey's I always think of the second mediocre time we spent there and not so much the great first-time experience. It's been several years now and I still can't bring myself to go back. We didn't have a bad experience the second time but it was like watching a movie you've seen already - it's okay the second time around but not necessarily as exciting. Just thought I'd give you another perspective.

Of course there are movies I watch over and over again and love them every time so I guess that wasn't the best analogy. Whatever you decide have a great time. Unfortunately we got shut out of CRT (again) for this trip but fortunately I had booked PSB as a back-up so I still get to see the princesses!

I don't see anything wrong with going twice if that is how you want to spend your time. Personally, I'd rather do something else. Seems like there is so much to do and see at WDW, that there is never enough time.

Enjoy your trip!

I'd go once, but I while I repeat some character meals trip to trip, I never do the same one twice in one trip. I'd do once at Cindy's and one Storybook Princess b-fast if I needed more princess interaction. The first time going in would be pure magic, but the next time the suspense and anticipation would be gone. As a mother of 3 I'd also feel guilty knowing some other family didn't get to go to CRT at all because I went twice. I'd look at my own kids and feel like I'd taken that from another mom because it's so hard to get in, just like JennyMouse. lol - imagine eating at CRT presenting a moral dilemna! lol

Nope, I'm a try new things kind of girl! We're doing Cindy's, Storybook Princesses, Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's (maybe), Tony's, and LTT for character supper. We can't fit 1900 Park Fare in, so we'll save that for the next trip.

Now this just reinforces that there are cancellations at CRT for all of you trying to get one.

Of course you can go twice! You can go every day if you so desire :)

I certainly wouldn't feel guilty either. You took your chance and got your PS the same way as everyone else - you are perfectly entitled to go and enjoy as often as you like :)

Congrats to you for getting Cindy PSs twice in one trip!!! I say go and enjoy!!! You have nothing to feel guilty about!

We're going to do the Storybook Princess breakfast and hopefully Cindy's during our short visit in December! My little girl will be in Princess heaven!!! Can't wait!

Enjoy your trip!

Just to qualify my remarks, I don't think it's wrong to go twice. Personally, the idea doesn't appeal to me, and I would want another family to have the chance. I just don't want to be misunderstood.

hi wenpop,
how exciting to have a ps on two different days at crt:D i'd hold onto both of them, if for any reason you can't make it to one you'll still have the other, and if you do decide once is enough someone else will be thrilled to get a last minute ps. be sure to cancel ahead of time to get your deposit back though. and if you do go to both don't feel guilty, enjoy:D next trip you might not be so lucky. have fun. we really enjoyed the castle our last trip in may, i hope i can get a ps next trip too.

You can do whatever you want. It's your vacation and your money!

But like others have said, I probably wouldn't go to the same breakfast twice in the same trip, but we are doing lots of character breakfast!

I do have a PS at CRT and Storybook and am going to do both. I did have a couple people here try to make me feel guilty but I didn't let it bother me. I got them all on my own and I was VERY lucky. Storybook is new and at a different park and we really wanted to check it out too!

Do what you feel is best, but if you do end up only using one, PLEASE be sure and cancel the other in time for someone else to snatch it up...although with the deposit I'm sure you would.

Have a great vacation!;)

Hey, you got the ressies, and you are entitled to use them WITHOUT any guilt. Our daughter loves the princesses so much that we have done the CRT breakfast twice in one trip. This year we will do CRT and the Storybook breakfast.

We repeat character breakfasts on the same trip all the time. We usually do the Cape May Cafe and 1900 Park Fare breakfasts twice each trip. We love character breakfast and these are some of the best. We know what we like and we stick to it.

As a family, we have experienced this breakfast several times. While I understand your wanting to do this twice, I wonder why you wouldn't want another family to get to share this magical meal. I used to enjoy this breakfast when it was known as King Stephans and the characters were more responsive than they are now. This meal has become very rushed and the character visits are very brief. This trip we are going to PSB and hope to enjoy a relaxed breakfast. As others have stated, it is your vacation and you may do as you wish, but 2X in one trip does seem excessive.

I am trying to understand your logic here. First you state that the character visits are brief. To me, that would support a second try, to round out some time with the princesses. How is going twice in one trip more excessive than going once each trip but you visit WDW three times a year? Some people only make it to WDW every few years or so. Perhaps this poster's DD is at just the right age to truely enjoy it in a way that she would not on the next visit.

I would hold onto both ressies at least until you have done the first breakfast. If your kids are gushing about doing it again, it was the best thing ever ect., go ahead and go again. Something may come up that forces you to miss the first PS, the second one will be peace of mind. If you do cancel the 2nd one, just think of how happy a family will be to get that last min. PS

A thought, what is the point of attempting this and then releasing a seating if you so deem? How rude! While we have experienced this more than once in 13 years of visits, I'll clarify it by stating that I would not condone selfishness. The assumption that it is okay is exactly what is wrong with society today. To think that going several times in one trip is proper amazes me. Perhaps Disney will start tracking these type of meal bookings and limit the seatings to allow more guests to experience the magic. The need for deposits speaks loudly of how many guests were booking but not attending meals. Perhaps if it were you that could not book a special meal, you would appreciate an opposing opinion. Sorry to sound negative, but with so few seats available, it appears to be quite selfish. While I have no intention of attending this meal, I do resent the implication that there is no difference between attending 2X in one trip or several times in a decade.

I have tried unsuccessfully to get the Castle Breakfast. Believe me the 4am calls are starting to take their toll. But I am going to keep trying.

If you got both these PS on your own (meaning no help from a third party) and you and your family want to do the breakfast twice then go for it. You may even find after Breakfast #1 that you don't want to do it again, then you can cancel it.

I say go for it! If you want to eat somewhere 2x, why not?! :D

My DH & I had considered eating breakfast in the castle on our upcoming trip, but decided to wait. Without kids, I'm not sure it is worth it. We will be doing MANY other character breakfasts instead, though. I decided a family with young children who wants to see the princesses in the castle would be much more excited with this opportunity than us.

If your family wants to eat at the castle twice & you were lucky enough to get the PS's - I say go & enjoy! ;)

I believe familyoffive's words are being twisted just a bit, Strawberryblonde. I took her point to be that this family would find other character meals to have better interaction and a more relaxed pace, which is just another reason to do CRT once then head to one they haven't experienced.

I had this same scenario with the ESP b-fast. We had PS's on 2 days, and I know my 4 yr old dd is crazy for Belle and would love to eat with her more than once. I also knew it would mean more to another family to go once than it would for my daughter to go twice. It was easy to make the decision to cancel one day, and through these boards I was able to give the PS to someone who had a little girl who'd never been to Disney. They were so thrilled to get the PS, and it felt so good to share.

Cindy's is not the only way to see the princess. We couldn't get into CRT 2 years ago, much to the disappointment of our 3 kids. We really wanted a picture of Cinderella (a family tradition just like getting your pic w/Santa). We went to Toontown and saw her and got our picture.

hmmm.....I didn't mean to imply that your family went three times a year. Clearly you are a thoughtful person who tries to see the other's point of view. Please forgive my wording if they implied you or your family in my argument.

I often see posts of happy families who make it a "never miss" to eat at the castle or other rest. for each one of their visits. They may live near WDW and have AP's. It has never seemed to me that they were selfish or shouldn't eat at Cindy's because they already had. On the other hand, I have seen other posters mention eating at Cindy's more than once in one trip (and it might be their one and only "trip of a lifetime") and seen others give them grief over this. It made me wonder why 2x in one trip is considered excessive/selfish whereas 1x per trip is not. I tend to worry about the "what ifs" and have read of little girls comming down sick right before their CRT breakfast ressies. I stand by my suggestion of holding onto both ressies at least until after successfully enjoying the first.
