My wife and I wanted very much to get ressies at Cindy's for our 3 y/o at Christmas time.
We followed all the advice to the letter. We each had a phone with the number predialed and began calling at around 6:55 friday morning. Finally got through when central reservations opened and was immediately placed in the holding pattern. By the time the cast member took my call at 7:02 all ps's for that day were taken.
Tried the same thing the next day with the same results. This time I asked if there were any cancellations from the day before. No luck.
Monday morning came and I was back at the office checking my email and making various arrangements for our upcoming Disney trip for Christmas. Because I had made my hotel reservations through Dreams Unlimited Travel they offer such client services as
priority seating arrangements. They provide an online form that you fill in with the specifics and they make the ps for you. I took advantage of this service and made a request for several restaurants and I was checking the times to see if they would fit into our revised schedule. It was then that I noticed I had put in a request several weeks prior for ressies at cindy's and Dreams Unlimited Travel had come through for me. I now have an 8:30 ps at CRT Christmas morning.
