my understanding is if you book before Feb 1,06 that you will get the old prices no matter when your stay is I might be misunderstanding what I'm reading tho.
That isn't the case. Rather, the prices go into effect as of February 1, 2006, regardless of when you book your visit.
The wording could be misinterpreted, though, so folks are well-advised to take notice: "All reservations
for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to February 1, 2006, will follow current pricing and deposit payment policies." If they had meant what you suggested, they would have said "... made prior to February 1, 2006, for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table, ..." Subtle difference.
They were lucky, in a way, that the 180 day ADR policy wasn't in effect prior to the decision to increase the prices. There actually weren't any reservations made for after February 1, 2006 before the price increase was announced. (Now whether folks booking for post-February 1, 2006 asked, when they booked, about what the price would be -- that's another matter.)
