cindy's breakfast ending??

a travel agent told a friend of mine that the characters would not be part of the breakfast after dec. 31st....could this be true?? thanks for the info..

I've made a ps for january 9th, 2003, so I assume its still going.

If this ends, it will probably raise more of an uproar than when EE ended!

This is a big publicity thing and moneymaker for WDW. If this is true, whoever makes this decision has no clue about what people like.

We just got back, and the characters were all there, a couple of days later, a family we were with went, and Cindy was only in the lobby. You had to stand in a huge line after you ate to see her and the Fairy Godmother. They also gave them regular French Toast sticks, not the YUMMY French Toast usually served. They were pretty disappointed, and reported that the people in line were not very happy.

I have a PS there on Jan. 14. If this is true, I am not going to be very happy at all about paying that much to eat BREAKFAST. I am going to call today and try and get some straight info on this. I am not paying a character dining price just to eat in the castle. If DS really wants to eat in the castle we'll do lunch there or something. If anybody has any word on this from personal experience or directly from a CM, please post.

I hated it last year when Cinderella was in the lobby. I got an early PS so I could go out and enjoy the parks, not wait in a bigger line than Dumbo to see a princess I paid to see while I was eating. My brother and I waited with my DD to see Cinderella while DH and my sons went on a few rides. They had rode the carousel 2x and Dumbo 2x before we got into the park. Its ridiculous!

I hope that's not true ... I was looking forward to my first breakfast at Cinderella's castle. I don't know I'd go if there weren't any characters there ... although, that might make it easier to get a PS

I can't believe they would stop having Cindy and the Princesses Character Breakfast since it is soooooooo popular. I'm sure its a nice money maker for them, so why would they stop that??!! Since your TA said it would end at the end of the year, I'm sure we would have heard an official announcement by now.

We just did Cindy's early in Nov. and had Cindy and the rest of the characters come to our table to meet and greet. We really enjoyed the breakfast experience with the princesses and plan to do it again.
