Although we know it will be crazy, after many regular visits, we are going to WDW for NYE!

Has anyone been to Cinderella's Table on NYE? I stumbled upon and booked an 11:00pm reservation for 12/31 and I'm not sure if it would be really amazing or terrible timing during the fireworks. Our children are 9 & 11 and we are not obsessed with seeing the fireworks, but wouldn't want to completely miss all of them either.

Thank you in advance!

If I was going through the trouble to be IN the MK for the NYE fireworks (which I am this year, BTW!), I’d hate to be stuck inside a building with minimal/no views of the big show. Not to mention it’ll be like WWIII in there!

I guess it could be a place to escape the crowds if you really have no desire to see the fireworks, although I think I’d still rather go ride rides or do something else than be in the castle for NYE.

Just my perspective... whatever you do, have fun!

Although it is the only place in the MK you can actually have a champagne toast!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Plus are your kids really going to eat that late at night at that age? I don’t know if there’s an option for just dessert at CRT (maybe there is).

None at BOG? Seems odd for "France" based castle, no?

Good call! For some reason I didn't think they had champagne there, but just checked the menu and they do (actually a far more robust beverage list than CRT). Does make sense given the theme!

You cannot see much of the fireworks at all (even if you get lucky and have a window seat) but it’s pretty cool being in CRT with the fireworks going off. We were there for wishes early this year. It was a really cool experience. They turn down the lights and play the soundtrack. It’s cool. That said, it’s not really experiencing the fireworks as they are meant to be experienced.

I'd definitely cancel the reservation or move it earlier. You want to be out and grab a spot for the fireworks
