So, I was so pleased with myself for booking CRT for dinner on December 18th. Until, I read in the Unofficial Guide that there are no characters (except Cinderella at the entrance and the Fairy Godmother) at the dinner. I did read a blog post that this changed recently and it is now a full princess dinner. Can anyone confirm this? My daughter will be so disappointed if it isn't, so perhaps I should change to 1900 Park Fare or Akershus?

Thanks in advance!

Erin

Just had dinner there last week. All the princesses were there. First we got a picture with Cinderella when you come into the castle (which is part of your package) and over dinner the rest of the princesses visit your table. It was a good time. My kids (3-1/2 and 22 months) enjoyed the interaction with the princesses. Have fun.

with many of the travel guides is that they go to print around the September time frame the year before date on the guide, i.e. Sept 2009 for the 2010 edition. When Disney makes changes late in the previous year or in the year covered the guides will not contain that information. For example our first trip using the UG Disney changed the window from 90 to 180 days in the Fall. When I called for CRT ADRs I didn't have a lot of choices but still got one.

I don't blame the guides. The UG is still very useful but if you are uncertain about something these boards can provide you up to date information.

After all that, yes there are princesses mingling at dinner at CRT. This started in February.

do the princesses sign autograph books and take pics?:confused3

Absolutely! The princesses are great and definitely sign books and pose for pictures.

Trying to remember who we saw when we were there in March... Cinderella at the entrance, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle, and Aurora during dinner.

YES!!! in reading other links I was afraid during dinner there was only the mice and FGM "show" I am sooo excited that the princesses are there and will sign "the book"!

Yes, definitely engaging, friendly and eager to sign autographs and pose for pictures. We had Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel and Jasmine at dinner in May.

I will say that we were deeply impressed by the meal and experience at Akershus, as well, although nothing can top the magic of eating in the Castle at least once in a little girl's lifetime!

This is great to know. Last time we went, no princesses, just FGM and the mice. GREAT excuse to go again for our Jan trip. Ashkerus was so great too. Maybe we'll do that one again.

I LOVE Cinderella's Royal Table! I just ate there this past April and am doing it again for our trip next week!! Cinderella was downstairs in the foyer, but the Fairy Godmother wasn't with her. The princesses that came during the dinner were Ariel, Belle, Snow White, and Aurora. Before each princess comes out, there is a little story about her, so you can guess who it is. I think Disney might alternate which princesses are there because I've heard other people have had different princesses. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the waiters and princesses are all very friendly. All the girls get wands and the boys get pirate swords. There is also a wishing star that is passed out during dinner, the fairy godmother's voice comes on and you have to wish over your star! It was soo magical. princess:
