Do the princesses and of course cinderella come out for dinner?? The disney website says that breakfast and lunch is character dining but not for dinner:confused3 This didn;t make sense to me. Maybe someone that has been there recently can help me. Thanks.

I recently read a report of dinner at CRT and the poster said that only the Fairy Godmother and the mice are there at that time. If you really want to see the princesses then I think you need to go for breakfast.

Just FYI...There is also a character meal with the princesses at Akershus in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT, although I don't think Cinderella is there.

At dinner Cinderella is downstairs and you have your picture taken with her. Upstairs the fairy godmother comes up and she does the happy birthday, anniversay etc thing, and she sings the bippity boppity boo song, she did not go to each table. The mice Perla and Suzy also visit upstairs, they actual went from table to table letting you take pictures and get autographs.

I think you got your answer, but you might get more responses to your dining questions if you asked them on the restaurant board. (I happened to notice that you had asked a couple here.)

The moderators here on the DVC boards tend to move things that aren't specifically DVC-related.

We had the CRT lunch a couple of years ago and it was exactly this format. It's a photo op with the great woman and a meal with the supporting cast.

For a much better Cinderella experience, go to the 1900 Park Fare at GF. That has Cindy, and Prince Charming actually circulating among the tables.

We have also had Cindy at the Norway Princess meal, although that has been only occasional. If you want to see Princesses, Norway is the best - usually one for a photo op, and 4-5 others circulating during the meal.

I agree with JimMIA - we have done both CRT and 1900 Park Fare - 1900 Park Fare is our favorite by far - the experience, the food - everything!!!!

A dissenting view. We did CRT for lunch and loved it. Photo with Cindy and Prince then lunch with visits at the table from Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Fairy Godmother and another (Belle maybe?) Food was great and photo included. Surroundings magical.
We did GF one also. Cindy and Prince and steps circulated but it just was not as magical as the castle and no photos included. The buffet routine made it not as special.
THIS IS ONLY MY VIEW, of course. Our 5 year old princess LOVED CRT for lunch and we are going back in Dec., but she never asked to return to Park Fare. Just wanted to post another experience.

We were just at CRT for lunch in May with our kids and grandkids (large group of 11). My 3 granddaughters had their picture taken (individually - it's included in the price) with Cinderella downstairs where she greets you before you go up to dine. Once upstairs there were 4 or 5 of the other princesses who visited each table. The kids LOVED this experience. There's just something about being in the Castle that makes it very magical. We had visited the BBB prior to our dining reservation so the girls were wearing their own princess costumes and looked beautiful! I wanted to say that the reason I chose Lunch was because at Dinner there are no princesses visiting as there are at Breakfast and Lunch . There are reviews for all 3 meals on allearsnet.com which I found very helpful in making my choice.

We did the CRT experience 4 years ago and I have to say that this time the princesses seemed a little more rushed but the kids didn't complain. We also did the Norway experience 2 years ago and the princesses there were great. Spent a reasonable amount of time at each table but can't say we had a great experience with the staff there.

Have a great time whatever you decide!
