I know that reservations are very hard to get here but if I am lucky enough to secure an ADR do you think lunch or dinner is best?

We had lunch here at Christmas and DD loved the character interaction and it was made extra special as we did it just after her BBB experience. However I wondered if trying to get a dinner reservation would be something different (I knwo only FG will be there). Can you see fireworks at all whilst your eatting (I'm guessing not really). Does anything special happen during the meal that kids would enjoy or is this aimed more at adults?

You can see the fireworks but the character interaction is very limited. The Fairy Godmother sings a song and the girl mice dance around. It was cute glad we did dinner but I doubt we will repeat we are going to try lunch as my girls like to talk and interact with the characters oppossed to sitting in a chair for a mini show

Do they do those little performances an hour apart? If so, is there a way to know at what time or is it supposed to be a "surprise?"

Character interaction aside-

I like the menu for dinner better than the menu for lunch.
