We were lucky enough to secure reservations for CRT at breakfast. From other posts, I understand that some seating is accessible to people in wheelchairs and other areas aren't. I have a few additional questions:
1. How much of the seating is in an accessible area?
2. Are the views better in the non-accessible area? I'm asking because only part of our group is going--the guys didn't want to participate due to lack of interest in princesses. If my young niece could get a better view if I don't go, I could hang out with the rest of my family.
2. The Passporter for people with special needs states that there is a small elevator. How small? Could I fit a large power wheelchair in it? My wheelchair length is around 64 inches with me in it.

1. It's about 4 tables.
2.They go everywhere so go enjoy it with her.
3.You won't have a problem getting in.
4.make sure they know on your ADR that you will be in a wheelchair.

Hi.
We were at CRT in June. My son is in a wheelchair.

The seating was perfect for us.... the characters came to all the tables so we didn't feel left out by any means.
The elevator was of an average size. My son's chair, as well as four other people fit in the elevator with no problem.

I choose to transfer my son out of his chair. He's only seven... and his chair is little.... so when you roll him up to a table the top of the table hits his forehead. It's no fun eating meal like that. :) The hostess happily moved his chair up against a wall and promptly brought it to us when we were ready to leave.

Make sure you mention the wheelchair when you make the ADR's.

Their are two levels in the CRT restaurant: the outer landing (several tables of various sizes) and center floor (sunken room, down a step or two with a dozen tables).

I've been twice. Once with my sister's family (a group of 5) and was seated in a booth table surrounding the center floor. Second time I went with my dad and got a table overlooking the center floor. Both times I could see the whole dining room, out the stained glass windows and into FantasyLand.

There really isn't bad seating in the place. Go and enjoy yourself with your family.

It's important also to mention that you have a wheelchair in your party when you check for your ADR. There should be a note if you told them when you made your ADR, but you want to make sure to bring it to their attention so that they people who actually assign the tables are aware.

I agree with the others, the elevator is relatively small. You should not have a problem getting your wheelchair in it, but it's not going to fit a party of 20 people.

I also agree with the others about the view - having a wheelchair won't make a difference in seeing the characters.

Thanks to everyone on this board. You've been a great help as I plan our trip. The last time we had a family trip to Disney was 30 years ago. The level of my disability has changed and lots about WDW has changed too. I went to the castle restaurant once about 10+ years ago before it became CRT, but honestly didn't remember what the interior was like. I was also using a much smaller manual wheelchair at the time, so I wasn't paying much attention to the size of the elevator.
