Hi,

We are going to the Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP for our one Disney experience on our September trip.

I have just looked and there is a reservation available for CRT at 3.55 (I assume this is for dinner), but using our MNSSHP tickets we cannot get in to the park until 4pm and I am guessing not immediately at 4?

Would we be able to make this reservation a few minutes after 4pm or would we be out of luck?

Thanks,

Lizzi

I'm not sure what time they change over from lunch to dinner (my GUESS would be lunch, but you can call wdw-dine and ask them.

I have no first hand experience at this, but I've heard they let you through the turnstyle for the party at 4:00 sharp.

As for the ADR, I KNOW that there is a 15 min grace policy of lateness. So, if you check in for your 3:55 ADR by 4:10, you're fine (and you can usually push it a little past that also, reportedly).

So, if you get in the park at 4:00 sharp, you'll have (at least) 10 min to get to the castle, which is definiately doable, so you SHOULD be OK.

If it wasn't pay in advance, I would say definitely go for it. But, because it is pay in advance, there is some risk.

I think WDW Dining is generally dinner at 3:30. Some places close and then reopen I don't about CRT, but it is safe to to you'll get dinner.

I have been late for ADR's as much as 10 minutes and had no problem. If you do like PP says and are going through the gate at 4 it should be fine.

They will not let you in the park with just your party ticket before 4pm.If you book that 355pm ressie you will get to the restaurant by about 410-415pm, and they are not obligated to hold your spot and you can LOSE your deposit.

I would bring a printed out copy of your reservation,I would imagine they would let you in!!! Go around 3:30 or 3:45......it's not like your trying to sneak in yearly.....you just want to eat!!!!

They haven't allowed people in the past-but anything is possible, but CRT I would not take the chance with.If you are a no-show or significantly late , they do not have to honor your dining ressie and they CAN charge you anyway(CRT requires a deposit ).The party starts at 7p.Disney is being more than fair letting people in at 4pm with just a party ticket. They need to draw the line somewhere

with a party ticket the poster will not be able to gain entrance to the park before 4pm.

How much to add a day to your ticket?

CRT requires more than a deposit. You pay for the entire meal up front. I posted in another thread that the OP started somewhere - same question. I said the same - they will NOT let you in before 4 PM so to the PP said bring your reservation - that will not work.

We only have a ticket for MNSSHP so $79 +tax each......

It's not the end of the world, if we will be too late then we won't go. I just thought it would be a nice possibility and I thought I would see what people thought.

I may call and see what the official position is regarding late arrivals - purely out of curiosity as people do arrive late sometimes and that cannot be planned for :)

Calling really wouldn't help as it would be the decision of the on duty manager depending on the situation. If they are insanely busy, they might not seat you and then you would be out the money (no show fee). If they do seat you, it is possible you will have to wait an unknown amount of time.

You can get in at 4 with the party ticket (or at least they have allowed that in the past). I would not risk making a reservation for any time before that, especially one that requires that you pay up front.
