Hello everyone!

My fiance and I are planning an Escape Wedding for next December.

Two questions (if they have already been answered, please feel free to direct me):

1) Does anyone remember if Cinderella's Royal Table (for dinner) is available during the Mickey Christmas Parties

2) Has anyone had an experience with the CRT with a party of about 20 people?

Thanks!

Yes, they may just ask you if you have tickets to the party when you try to make a reservation that falls during party hours.

I haven't done this, but here's the number you call to make large-party reservations at Disney restaurants: 407-939-7700

:thumbsup2

Thank you for the info! Now we're flip flopping between restaurants

Well, if it helps, I think having your dinner at CRT could be more trouble than it's worth. Besides being very expensive, it will require your guests to have park admission. You could probably do a private meal at a resort or Downtown Disney restaurant for less money. :thumbsup2

Part of our wedding night will be the Mickey's Christmas Party for everyone so hopefully timing wise, we would fall within that 4/5 pm time in case anyone is not getting park tickets can still get in.

But definitely the $$ of the CRT is sticking out...:scared1:

Brutal honesty coming...I went to CRT over my "just got back yesterday" Christmas trip to the World. It sucks. The food is horrible and I thought it was really awkward without kids. I know it's different for other people, but I thought it was a grandiose waste of money. I always wondered where the vents, etc were from the stoves inside the restaurant, and after eating the food I realize that it must it be cooked off-site and warmed there.

Again, I know people have their favorites and preferences, but I would eat at a resort before the party as I personally don't think any places inside Magic Kingdom have good food. 'Ohana would probably be fun with a big group and then you can take the monorail over to the party afterwards.

This is why you guys are amazing - brutally honest always works (I've learned that it saves a lot of time, energy and money at the end). I'm only set on three things (well four, including the groom). Disney World, December and the Mickey's Christmas Party...beyond that, it's all gravy :)

Well since you are still throwing food places around; I would really look into the resort restaurants. You can get a Tables in Wonderland card since you'll have annual passes. This would help save you some money. You get 20% off (but an automatic 18% tip is added; but you'd tip anyway...). The only thing is that the card is mostly only good at sit-down places.

Again, look into 'Ohana. I was just there and thought the food was good, but DH and I felt so guilty and didn't eat any meat off the skewers since we knew so much food would be thrown away. However, if you are going with a big group, you could definitely eat all the food they bring you and then some. It also has a nice atmosphere for big groups. It's around $30/person so it would be a lot less than CRT.
