Cinderella's Royal Table pre-payment with dining plan?

I went to make my ADR's for CRT today for my DD's 5th birthday and even though I am on the dining plan and signed in under my reservation, it is asking for pre-payment. I thought with the dining plan you didn't need to pay ahead?

It's another quirk of the computer system, frequently does not recognize the DDP. Call for the CRT ADR and you will just have a credit card hold, not a charge.

I just booked this today, and they said it just holds our place, they don't charge the card. It is in case we don't show up, then they do charge a $10 penalty fee for not canceling within the 24 hour allotment. That was the case for all of my reservations I made today.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you see a charge to your card.

You need to call. The online system usually doesn't handle these transactions properly.

I am on free dining and they charged my card. I had to call them to get it reversed (which was a bit of a hassle.) Definitely watch your credit card statement.

Has anyone been able to book online and have it associate with their dining plan correctly? (recently)

I booked a CRT breakfast online and my card was charged.

Then I took a look at our plans, and decided NOT to use up 2 TS credits per person (2 adults and 1 child) to pay for it. I am going to leave the charge and keep the TS credits for other meals. Based on the breakfast being less expensive than other times at CRT this appears to be a more economical solution. The credits will go further for us if used for 2 TS dinners.
