Which one is better all around? If you could only go to one, which one would would a 3 year old enjoy more?

For Breakfast... I like the food at Akershus better but I like the atmosphere at the CRT better!

Probably CRT because Cinderella is there and it's IN the castle! We are doing both on our next trip along with 1900 PF. Hopefully......I haven't made all the ressies yet. Just CRT so far.

Well....I have to say that for a 3 year old, I might save the castle until it had more impact. We just took my DD(2.5) to Askershus for lunch and it was awesome! The food was very good (we were surprised), the servers wonderful and we saw Jasmine, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and Aurora! They were all very sweet and fun to talk with....My DD couldn't have cared less if the princesses were in a castle or an alley - she was just awestruck!:lovestruc

We are planning on saving the Castle until my DD really "gets" going into the castle...thinking maybe 4 or 5?

We have done both, (breakfast & lunch) and for us it was all about the atmosphere! There is just something so increadibly magical and special about actually going inside the castle and meeting Cinderella :lovestruc The food, well TBH I didnt pay that much attention, I was just so happy to be enjoying the whole thing.

I do distinctly remember what the food was like at the Norway breakfast, and I can safley say that we all thoroughly enjoyed it, we liked the self serve buffet with pastries and fruit, and the family style platter was a big hit, the kids loved the sausage links and even asked for more!

We certainly didnt feel rushed at the Norway breakfast, the Princesses spent ages with us having photos taken and signing books, and at the end of the meal our server was happy to just keep pouring the coffee, it wasnt as manic and chaotic as CRT. A very relaxed yet fun place with good food.

If I had to choose one for the food it would be Norway, if I had to choose one for the WOW factor and atmosphere it would be CRT. If you have to pick one or the other, the I would think every little girls dream would be to have breakfast inside the Castle wouldnt it? so that would be my choice :goodvibes

oh wow. Jasmine and Ariel. She would love to see them both.
I wonder what princesses CRT has now. I know they keep changing.

Wow good review. Now I am really confused though!! :-)
So at Norway, do they actually read or something? Do either of them have anything special, or just princesses coming around to the table?

Our recent lunch at CRT was very hurried. The princesses only came around once and they were in a rush. I'd be surprised if my 4-year-old niece had 30 seconds with Snow White. We used to love lunch in the Castle. But, they've made it such a rushed process now, we won't go back.

No, there isnt an actual storybook reading that takes place, just the princesses coming around the table. When you first go in you are taken to a special area and have your official photgraph with Belle (thats who it was in January anyway!) You can later purchase the package. She was all lovely in her gold dress and was very sweet, we had a lot of fun.
Then you are shown to your table and are served with juice/coffee/tea etc and told to help yourslef to the buffet while the server brings out the hot items on a platter, then you enjoy your breakfast and wait for the princesses to come around the tables. We loved Jasmine and Aurora :goodvibes

Ah, and you bring me to my other thought on the subject...the photo package is INCLUDED in the price of the meal. We got a 8x10 and four 3x5's! AND it's one TS.

:goodvibes

Don't get me wrong, my DD loves the princesses too and she's only 2 1/2...but she really doesn't understand the whole castle thing...I think it's a little too abtract for her right now. We'll wait. :goodvibes Have a great time!

I understand. :thumbsup2

We went to both on our recent trip - Akershus for a breakfast and Cinderella's for a lunch. The thing is, my four year old is a total Cinderella fan. We went to Akershus at the beginning of the week and to Cinderella's at the end of the week, and my daughter kept asking all week, when do I get to see Cinderella? At Akershus, Mary Poppins asked her who is your favorite princess, and she immediately replied Cinderella! It felt a little pointless going to Akershus.

In Akershus's favor, it had a quieter noise level to me. We also had an extremely friendly server there, who even made us all to-go cups of water to take with us into the park when we left. Finally, I think the princesses got to spend longer at our table at Akershus - they seemed a little rushed at Cinderella's.

Overall, I enjoyed both, but be mindful of whether your kid is a Cinderella buff :)

I've done both (Norway breakfast, and CRT 5 times- breakfast once, lunch 4 times). Overall I would have to go with CRT lunch. I prefer the food there, the atmosphere is great, and I just love it there.

We were at Disney last week and I took my 6 yr old twin daughters to CRT for breakfast. I have not done the other one mentioned, but just let me tell you...I cried when the girls went up to Cinderella for their autograph and picture. Like mentioned earlier, there is something about that castle and my daughters were old enough to really be into it. The princesses that were there were Belle, Snow White, Princess Aurora, and Mary Poppins. I was a little embarrased because my girls didn't reall know Mary Poppins!

The food was good. Did feel a bit rushed, but we were done by 9:30 and we went over to get in line for Aerial's autograph because her exhibit was to open at 10. The day before the wait was ranging from 40-90 minutes. When we arrived after breakfast, we were surprised to see they had just opened the line and we only waited 5 minutes to get Aerial's autograph!

We did receive an 8x10 and 4-3 1/2 x 5's and the girls received wishing wands. We were on the Dining plan so we just used 2 credits each. For us, it was so worth it!

Hope that helps!
