Just making sure tip is included in the package. According to all ears tax and tip are included.

Is it different if you are on the dining plan with the tip being included? We are doing the 2 credits each. I don't want to stiff the waiter and we will probably give a little more on the tip, but I don't want to double tip in full if it's included with the package and the dining plan.

How much more do you give beyond the included tip per person? TIA

It's included even with the DDP (one of the very few places where that is true). For the actual amounts and such, those will likely be relegated to the stickied Tipping thread (as it varies by custom, service, how much you want to give them, etc.) and is fully up to you. But yes, the tip is included with the price of the meal.

Would the same be true for HDDR if you are using 2 table service credits? Is the tip included? Thanks.

According to the DIS Page, the HDDR also includes both Tax and Gratuity (note that the pricing on the DIS page currently matches the pricing on the WDW official page). I would assume that since it's a single-priced meal with tax and gratuity included, it would be similar to CRT in that sense. However, I only have personal experience with CRT, so take that with a grain of salt. Best thing to do would be to call them and get word straight out of their mouths (may want to call a couple times and ask different CMs, we all know how they are )

there is a sticky thread at the top of the boards on tipping. Both crt and hddr have the gratuity included.
