How difficult is it to get a PS for lunch? I plan on calling the first day I can- is it relatively easy? Thanks!

We are at CRT for both lunch and dinner last summer and had no problems getting our ps.

Hope you have a great time!!!!!!!!

Ditto. You can get lunch ressies very easily. Dinner is far more expensive than lunch and virtually the same menu, so try for lunch.

Is Cinderella, or are any other characters, present for lunch or dinner at the castle?

We had lunch at CRT for my birthday in December. PS was easy to get, we were even able to change our times pretty easily two days before. Food was yummy, service was great, and make sure you let them know if you are celebrating something special. Lunch prices are defenitely better than dinner, check out menus at www.wdwig.com

Cinderella wa sin her throne room (kind of the waiting area for the restaurant) when we came down the stairs after lunch!!! There are no garauntees she'll be there though, we had no idea and we're magically surprised. I think when she is there or isn't has something to do with the schedule for the Suprise Celebration show she's in, but maybe it was just dumb luck.

Hope you have a great time there!

Lunch at CRT WAS relatively easy to get, but I was just there a few weeks ago. Had to call exactly 60 days in advance and even then (2 hours after they opened, I know I shouldn't have waited so long!) they only had 2 openings for parties of 2, none if we'd been 4. A few months ago, I tried calling at 59 days, no luck. So I asked the CM about what appeared to be a recent change in how hard it was to get ressies and she said that almost everyone who can't get the breakfast now seems to go ahead and reserve for lunch or dinner. There are no characters in the dinig room, but I have seen both Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother in the waiting area on different occassions.

We found it easy to get our dinner PS for CRT. No characters, but great prime rib! :)

Wow! If there's other meals elsewhere with Cinderella and other princesses, is there something about this dining hall that is exceptionally beautiful that makes it worth such torture to even attempt to get a reservation? I'm new to this and so, I ask what might be obvious to others.

Cool- thanks for all the advice. I will be sure to call exactly 60 days out, just in case.

Yes there is. There's Cinderella's Gala Feast which is an All-You-Can-Eat Dinner Buffet held nightly at the Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare restaurant. For another Princess meal, try Norway's Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot. Cinderella is not at this character meal but Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Mulan and others are.

Thanks for the info. Does the Norway Storybook Princess type have a dinner as well as breakfast? Or just breakfast?

KIS- Norway is just breakfast with the princesses. They serve other meals, but no characters. You can find reviews and pictures around the DIS or menu, reviews, and pics at www.wdwig.com (under dining).

We did PSB last year in August and it was great! great food, great service, great character interaction.

Have a good trip!
