Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch or dinner?

We are not early morning people, and we are looking for a special meal for a little princess's birthday.

What characters are at lunch and breakfast at CRT? All Ears states that the Fairy Godmother hosts these meals. What does that mean?

Is she the only character at these meals? Does she go around to the tables? Or do you meet her only on the way in or out of the restaurant?

Please post about your experiences there. I'm not finding much about the lunch or dinner.

We've had dinner there a few times, and each time we met & had a special photo session with Cinderella on the way in. Then in the dining room, a succession of Disney princesses visited our table- quite a few. We liked it.

Thank you for replying. That is exactly the kind of experience we are looking for. Meeting only the Fairy Godmother is not.

No, it's definitely a princess-themed event at dinner. I don't even remember meeting the Fairy Godmother the times we were there.

I have a feeling the info on All Ears is outdated and that's why I am asking.

From what I can gather, it's one price and you select an entree and dessert. The appetizer they serve is cold meats and cheeses--sounds like an antipasto. Is this correct?

What they they mean by "hosted" by the fairy god mother is that she's at the front entrance after your photo session with cinderella. Thats the experience we had the last time we were there in october.

We had breakfast there. The food was enjoyable and exceeded my very low expectations, but we were on the dining plan and I'm so glad we didn't pay OOP. You do get a little plate of pastries and then order an entree. The kids' choices are dismal. But you're not really going for the food, right? I thought the character interaction was the worst of any character meal I've done, except for Cinderella. She's downstairs and separate from the mayhem upstairs. She is very sweet and kind. The other characters (Ariel, Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White, etc) upstairs rushed through the picture and autograph and were away to the next table. It's nice to do once and the little ones seemed to love it. I was expecting more for the price, but c'est la vie!

We have always enjoyed CRT and our little princess is in college now! I have only gone for breakfast and lunch but we met all of the princesses and enjoyed our meal. Expensive but a very "magical" experience!

At one time only the fairy godmother and mice appeared at dinner. They would sing a little song and preform at certain intervals. That is no longer the case. Now all of the meals have become a traditional character meal with the princesses rotating through.
