Can't seem to find the proper answer anywhere.......we have dinner reservations for CRT. I seem to get conflicting information - is this an "all you care to eat" restaurant? Has anyone had any experience ordering extra food? We will be traveling with 2 adults and 3 children and the baby will be eating off everyone else's plates. I just want to make sure we have enough food for him, I can't see paying $25.99 out of pocket for him to have a couple of hot dogs.

Thanks!!!!!!

CRT is not an "all-you care-to-eat" restaurant. It is a fixed plate menu. There are if I recall 4 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 3 or 4 desserts that you can choose from. I feel they could give you slightly bigger portions in regard to side dishes but the meat portion of the entree is a good size.

Really for me dining here is about the experience and not the amount of food.

I don't know about dinner but breakfast is an all you can eat. However it is brought to you family style. We ate there for breakfast last Feb and are going again this Feb. Love it.

Maybe it was the breakfast I read was all you care to eat/family style?

This is MY special dinner, I'm not going for the food but the atmosphere......however, if the boys (ages 1 and 3) aren't happy, nobody is happy! My 7 year old daughter is excited about this one, too, so probably will be too overwhelmed to eat. Like I said, I just wanted to make sure there is enough food for everyone to share with the baby without forking out the extra $ for him.

Thanks!

I have your answer about the baby!
When we went last year my baby was 9 months old. They gave her a bowl of pasta for free! She loved it and actually shared it with her big sister who was tired and changed her mind about her order after she received it.
So no, it's not all you care to eat, but they will provide your baby with a meal. They gave her milk too, and she shared my dessert. She had a great time!
Warning though: the only characters at dinner are the Fairy Godmother and a couple of mice from Cinderella. It was very cute when they sang and danced, but one of the mice came up to our table and scared the bejusus out of my baby, she kind of snuck up on her before I could warn her. SHe didn't freak out or anything, but the look on her face! She didn't expect to see that when she looked to her left!

no this is not all you can eat. but when dd was little they did bring her her own bowl of pasta for free too. also if your going for the princess she is not in the restaurant. you dont really get that much time with her. it is really just the experience of being in the castle. and if your there at the time of wishes you can see them from there and they filter in the music. it is pretty neat.

I was so happy to score reservations, I didn't care when they were! We have the first dinner reservation, at 4:00. Just eating in the castle is a dream. princess: Now, if only I could sleep there, too........oh, to dream big! :wizard:
