Cinderellas Royal Table before Departure- Too Risky?

Update- Thanks everyone!! Modified question now- if we rent a car we should not have a problem making it to the airport by 1:50 with a 10:10 reservation, right? I feel silly asking but I'm not sure how long it takes to leave MK, get the car, return the car at the airport etc. We are taking Virgin America so no early check in for us, unfortunately.

Hi Everyone, we managed to get Cinderella's Royal Table reservations for our last day (Friday, Dec. 7) at 10:10. Our flight departs at 3:50 and we are staying at the Art of Animation so I imagine will get picked up at 12:50 for the airport. I'm really nervous about missing our ride to the airport so am asking for advice. How long does CRT usually take? It looks like the last breakfast reservation ends at 10:15 that day and lunch begins at 11:30. It's for two adults and one 4-year-old. I imagine worst case scenario they would rush us out before lunch service at 11:30. If we take one last walk down Main Street and grab a bus back to AoA, should we be able to make it back to the hotel, grab our suitcases and be waiting for our Disney express shuttle by 12:50?

Additionally, we were able to get Bibbidy Bobbity Boutique reservations at Disney Springs on our first morning and will need to take a cab there since it's before DS opens (9:35). I am reading we will have to take a bus back to our hotel and then to the parks so might as well get the cab to drop us off at the parks.

With these two factors, does it make more sense for us to just rent a car? That way we would just have our suitcases in the car on Friday and can go straight to the airport? We would also not have to get a cab for BBB at DS.

I do not want to rent a car if i don't have to but am willing if you agree we will be cutting it too close on our last morning.

Thanks for your advice!!

Laurie

Should you, yes.

You shouldn't HAVE to rent a car but there's no question it would save you time.

I'd not want to do it.

I've had some uncomfortable "close calls" with daytime buses from parks to resorts on "last days."
We even had a bus driver forget where he was going and circle Epcot (all the way around) before heading to the correct Resort as we watched the clock tick down to our DME time.

Scary stuff, kids!

Also remember that depending on the airline you are flying you can check in your luggage at your resort.

Would this bring an additional cost of an extra days ticket or do you guys have APs?

What about taking Lyft directly from TTC to MCO? Would you be willing to do that to get in your CRT meal? If you can check your bags with RAC and leave your carry on bags in lockers this is a very viable option for your last day.
You can even use CR, walk over and call for Lyft from there to save a little more time

You can use Lyft to/from DS for BBB too.

All of that should still be less than renting a car. And no hassles for pick up/return.

ETA - To answer the original question, yes, it's too close to eat at CRT at 10:10 and get out of MK and to AoA in time for ME pickup

If you think you'll be rushed. Renting a car might be a better option. The transportation buses sometimes can be wonderful or feel like they take a while.

When you go to your reservation you can always let them know you have to be out by a certain time. Maybe even arrive a little early to your reservation to see if they can get you in a few minutes early?
