Me and my wife re taking our 6 Year old niece to Disney World next February. We are definitely doing the royal table for her. My question is would you also suggest the princess buffet at Akersus or is the same princess and would be a waste.

It's mostly the same princesses. I don't know if it would be a "waste" if your 6YO is really goo-goo for princesses, but it is redundant.

Cinderella's Royal Table is usually Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel; Town Belle, Rapunzel and Merida sometimes are in the mix based on scheduling issues.

Akershus is usually Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora and Ariel. Cinderella and Mulan occasionally get swapped in.

If you want two princess meals, a good combo is to do Akershus for Breakfast or Lunch one day, and 1900 Park Fare's Happily Ever After Dinner another day -- it has Cinderella, her prince, and usually some combo of the Tremaines and the Fairy Godmother, and is reputedly lots of fun.

We have done both and enjoyed both. Most recent was dinner at CRT, we loved it, our food was really good and we had a nice table by a window overlooking the carousel. We did lunch at Akerhaus, we really liked this as well. The lunch there was a little less expensive than CRT. I though the princess interactions were pretty identical with the exception of meeting Cinderella at CRT and Belle in her ball gown aT Akerhaus, for us it was worth seeing them all so we have on different trips done both. Whatever you decide, I hope you really enjoy! Auroraborealis has a really good suggestion as well, 1900 PF dinner is very nice and Cinderella is there!

I always push Akerhaus, I think it is superior to CRT both in food and in character interaction time. However, I cannot deny that there is something magical about being in the castle itself, especially for your niece. I would say both! More princesses is never a bad thingprincess:

You can't go wrong. We have done both and personally felt, overall, Akershus had better food and more character interaction (all the kids were happily dancing away in the parade) but the castle ambience is a magical destination for any princess!

We have done both..CRT was a one time thing for us..great to experience once but way overpriced and breakfast wasn't that great... Akershus is only one dining credit and the breakfast there is delicious!!!!!!!

My two cents, we have done both and 1900 park fare. We love arkershus for breakfast and 1900 for dinner. At arkershus we do 8 am and ready for first ride of the day at test track, or if Norway and frozen is open you could be in line first before the park open. At 1900 we love the dinner and then sit on the dock and watch fireworks. I'm not against cinderellas royal table, but, unless a birthday and someone wants it, it's like a been there done that and never feel like I should go back.

I think that CRT is great choice, there is definitely something magical about being inside the castle. We enjoy the brft., and have always had good interaction. We have not found Akershus to be as exciting. It was fine, but DD asked to go back to the castle next time. It is mostly the same princesses, although we had Mulan once there which was nice. We are also big fans of 1900 PF as PP mentioned. Cinderella and the Prince come out and dance, as well as greeting you, and stepmother and sisters are totally in character, and it is very entertaining. Last time we went the stepsisters were not present, having to "do their chores" before Christmas, according to the stepmother, so the mice were there instead, very cute and we had never met them, but we were missing the sisters.
You could also think about doing BBB before the castle meal. We surprised DD when she was 8, and she loved it. We bring our own dress, so just do the basic package with hair, nails, and make-up, so not too expensive. It is also very magical when they sprinkle you with pixie dust and spin you around to the mirror to see the final result.

We're doing both in October. CRT for the castle experience mainly. Then Akershus for the princess factor and also I'm hoping the 8am ADR right next to Norway will help out the cause when it comes to the new Frozen attractions.

I would only go to Akershus personally. The princess interactions is much better there and the food was good. Plus you will be close to the Frozen stuff if she likes Elsa and Anna!

If your niece is a big princess fan, I say go for it. It will be some of the same princesses but a different experience. We prefer the food and interactions at Akershus. As others have said, you may want to check out 1900PF too- it's our favorite character dinner.

My son loves Mickey... last fall we went for 5 days and had 4 different meals with Mickey at them. He was just as excited (if not more) the last day at Tusker House as he was the first. If she's nutty for princesses... I'd do both!

We always do the Norway for early breakfast and usually a lunch for the castle if we can't get breakfast. like getting into Epcot for 8am and we're done by 8:45am!

It's mostly the same princesses, I think out of the five we saw at each meal, four were the same; Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora. I would personally do a different character meal to mix it up, I love Crystal Palace with Pooh or the 1900 Park Fare breakfast with Mary Poppins.
