I would like to book CRT and pay with a gift card. Is this possible? I only see where I can enter a credit card. Also how do I get the annual pass discount? I would also like to book a dessert party and am having the same problem (would like to use a gift card for payment).

Isn't the CC just security to hold the spot, like all other ADRs?

No, at CRT you pay the entire amount at the time of booking. There should be an option to select Disney GC or Disney Rewards Card when booking.

I have had to call to use a gift card for things like ADRs and tours.

They may charge the full amount to the card. When you arrive, they can sub the gift cards and refund the money. At least that’s the way AP discounts are handled.

I called and was told it is not possible to do it with a gift card.

Also note that the tip is included when you pay at the time of booking your ADR. As for AP discounts, I’ve had to show my AP when we checked in and they credited the discount back.
