Cinderella's "Lunch"-Upcoming

On our recent trip to WDW we had a 5:10 PS "at Cinderellas". While we were waiting in the seating area downstairs, we were entertained by Cinderella herself making an appearance, talking & graciously posing for pictures- this was a pleasant, unexpected surprise. Even my 11-year old son didn't have to be coaxed to have his picture taken with Cinderella.

When we were seated, we mentioned the experience to our waitress. She indicated that this happens quite a bit before the show they have in front of the castle.

She also mentioned that beginning sometime later this spring, they would start taking reservations for Lunch with Cinderella, similar to the nearly impossible-to-obtain Breakfast currently offered.

She wasn't sure of when this Lunch would begin, but for all you mothers of little princesses who couldn't get a breakfast reservation, this might be a lifesaver.

We were lucky enough to be seated at the window overlooking Fantasyland and were quite amused by Peter Pan & Captain Hook running around the walkway right outside our table-what a hoot!

PS, although we didn't go for the food, I just wanted to eat in the castle, the Prime Rib was very good. But, I can't say the same about the strange, overly sharp-tasting shrimp cocktail.

Thanks for the update. I want to make a PS for lunch or dinner in Sept, now I am leaning toward dinner.

I was planning to have lunch at the castle on my birthday. I hope that if they do add the princesses to lunch that it won't be as difficult to get a PS as breakfast is.
