Could someone please tell me how much time Dinner takes (from check-in to walk out)?

Not sure about dinner, but we did lunch (family of 4) on Friday and it was about 90 minutes. Of course this is with 2 smaller children (DS4 DD2) and we lingered a bitto ensure we got photos, as it was a beautiful day and the light in the room was just awesome.

By the way, the food really surprised me - I had heard that it was so-so, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was quite an experience overall! If you've been able to score reservations, make time for it!

We did the dinner in August. We had a 4:15 ADR. We got there about 5 minutes prior to our ADR. We were seated pretty quickly (You can get your pic taken with Cindy before but DS was sleeping so we did this after) out waiter was fantastic and I think we were out of there between 5:30 and 5:45. Hope that helps

We had reservations for dinner at 5:45 p.m. and were out of the castle at about 7:00. I must say that if it was up to our server, we would have been served our drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert all at once. He insisted that we order everything including dessert up front. When we said that we did not know yet if we even would be ordering dessert or what we wanted, he backed off a little. He even requested that we pay for our meal before we even got a glass of water. When we asked him why he wanted us to pay for it before we ate, he said that the credit card machine was really slow and it would take too long later. He really rushed us through our meal. I will never make reservations there again. Hope your dinner is more relaxing than ours. :confused3

CRT was our first meal at MK. It was the best meal ever. We had ressies for 5pm and were out at 630pm. Our server was very patient and wanted us to wait around for the fairy godmother to get some glasses since it was our honeymoon.:cool1:

we went july 07. Had a 830 reservation, arrived at the check in at 730 and they were able to seat our party of 7 immediately. So we got in the picture line- there was only 1 family ahead of us - then off to dinner. We were at 2 tables and our meal from bread to desert and out the door was about an hour. Our meal was on a Mon or a Tues I think. It wasnt an EMH day for MK- I do remember that. Hope that helps. BTW- this was one of the best meals we had during our stay and we are looking forward to dining in the castle in 08.

This is odd becasue when we went in August we had to give our CC at the time of the reservation. Maybe they have changed it since you went:confused3

We did dinner last December and it is rush rush so you will be in and out quickly. I agree with previous poster saying that if it were up to them they would serve everything at once.

Hey thanks everyone. We have 4:15 on a MVMCP night. I wanted it later and have been trying and trying, but it looks like I'm a little stuck. It will probably get us out (party of 5: 2 adults, kids 6, 3, 2) sooner than I wanted, but it may work out OK.

And thanks for the advice. It's been paid for since the reservation, but I won't let them push us in ordering. I want to enjoy this dinner. It might be my only chance ever to eat in the castle, with 3 boys, I don't know if I can sneak this one in again!!
