We caught Cinderellabration recently and were somewhat disappointed by it. We'd seen CSC many times since it opened (I think) in 2001. We loved that show! But Cinderellabration was kind of not our cup of tea. Even the kids were restless during the show. I realize that the plot of CSC was simplistic, but we loved the music and songs and it had a great sampling of many different characters, not just princesses. Anyway, I was curious as to how the rest of you felt about the two shows.

I look forward to the responses ...

I actually like both of them, but I like Cinderella's Surprise Celebration better. I really like having so many of the Princes and Princesses together in Cinderellabration, and the sets and costumes are great. However, I like the music, character variety, and plot of Cinderella's Surprise Celebration better. My vote goes to that one.

The princesses were very beautiful, but I do not feel they were incorporated well. It was a little boring too. And where was Ariel?

Cinderellabration grows on you. I love the music from the show. I thought I would never like it as much as the Surprise Celebration but I do.

I liked them both. But my vote has to go to Cinderellabration because I'm "friends" with the characters.

i have to say I thought it was boring! Preferred the other one!

the first thing my best friend and I said after seeing Cinderellabration was, "Nothing went wrong! How can Disney have an attraction or show where no one has to be saved???" Even in the Country Bears, they have to drown out Big Al when he gets out of hand... :)

Anyway, Cinderellabration is lovely - the costumes are wonderful, but I prefer Surprise Celebration. The other princesses feel more like they belong, rather than just being add-ons, and I laugh out loud even listening to the CD when they say, "Back it up" and Chip and Dale start beeping like big trucks!

CSC was soooo much better. Both my wife and I were disappointed by Cinderellabration. In fact, of all the different things for the Greatest Celebration, we thought this was the most disappointing. CSC incorperated not only all the characters, but the entire castle.

Here's hoping Cinderellabration goes back to Tokyo.

Cinderellabration is a huge disappointment. CSC was fun, the new one is just boring.

My understanding, also, is that we didn't get the full show from Tokyo. That incorporates fur characters, as well. Don't know if it actually has a plot or not, though.

The surprise celebration is supposed to come back after the 50th celebration is over.

My kids LOVED watching Cinderella's Surprise Celebration, but were very bored watching Cinderellabration & I had to force them to watch it to the end.

We have been to WDW during the time when Cinderella's surprise celebration was on and never got around to watching it.

My BIL however has some fantastic pictures and I have the music from this sow on my 50th celebratio double CD.

I voted only seen one(Cinderelllabration) but I think I would of preferred the previous show.

Cinderellabration, is o.k. but if you have little boys, they will be bored silly.

OK, which "IT" was boring, and which "OTHER ONE" did you like better?

According to whom? Has there been some announcement about that? It would be unusual for them to bring back a show after it was replaced.

It wasn't really being "replaced". CSC was more on hold for the celebration. So I wouldn't be surprise if they bring it back (I hope so, anyway).
