Thinking about booking Cinderella Royal Table for 4 but one member of the party is a cast member. So I won’t know until 2 weeks out what their work schedule will be for that day. Can I just drop them from the reservation at the podium and be refunded for their portion? I figure that would be easier than trying to add them to the reservation 2 weeks out.

One of our party was sick and we let them know at the podium, but I also reminded our server when we were seated and they made sure to remove them. It was a few years ago, but I remember I had to contact Disney because the refund for a prepaid ADR was taking awhile, but I don’t recall if it was CRT or another.

At the end of your meal your server will present your check. If the total is less than what you prepaid, they will issue a credit back to your method of payment. There are things on the menu, like cocktails, that aren't part of the prepaid amount. Some people are eligible for a discount such as annual pass holders. Every table is presented with a check. Those who didn't order any extras, have no discounts to claim, and had the same number of guests that they booked for, will have no balance due. Those who ordered extra items will owe for those items. Those who prepaid for more guests than actually attended or who are entitled to a discount will receive a credit back to the original form of payment. You will get a receipt.

I went midnight NYE last year and was surprised the tip was included.
I had planned to add but waiter said No
Also a Star was on table for each guest . Was this special for NYE ?
We also got sword and wand.

Everyone gets the star regardless of what day it is. Some servers only offer a sword or wand to the children. Others will allow the adults to have them as well.

My experience is party with children: toys only for children. Party of all adults. Here you go. I actually broke my sword the day of the reservation on BTMRR and went back to the podium and was like well this happened. CM just said Bibbity Bobbity Boo and pulled out a new sword and I still have it in my Disney collection of stuff from my trips. CRT was truly amazing even if the food was not great.

I just went to Cinderella's Royal Table a few days ago with my wife (two adults enjoying the magic).
It was truly one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. Cinderella greeted us as we entered through the doors and we had our picture with her. Then while dining, other princesses stop by your table playing their part perfectly (Snow White, Ariel, Merida, and Jasmine). They were all so beautiful, the service was amazing, the food was really good, and being inside the castle looking out to fantasy land was awesome! I know it's expensive, but I really felt the experience was worth it.
