Cinderella resv help PLEASE-------

It has been years since I tried to get resv. at Cinderella for breakfast. Today was my 1st day of trying. I was all set with the phone #, date, 1 st available seating, the exact time to call, everything! But when I called I got had to answer a whole lot of questions and by the time I finished pressing all my selections it was almost 5 after 7, so by the time I got thru the seatings were gone.

Does anyone have tips on how to get around this? Do I not make any selections as I do when I call for resort resv?

I'm down to my last couple of days to try for this resv. We have been for breakfast a couple of time in the past, so this isn't a big thing for us, but we will be visiting WDW with my brother & his family and he has a little princess of his own that would be absolutely trilled to eat with other princesses.

first of all, what number are you using? you may want to try the 1-800-828-0228 number for toll free calling... secondly, do it again, paying attention to what you enter and the order and either know which buttons to press when (before you hear the prompt, to save time) or bypass some of the questions (i have read of others doing this, but have not done it myself)... another thought is to start a couple of minutes before seven, so you are "in" just as the clock chimes 7! also, for a different princess meal, which is difficult but not *as* difficult to get, try for the storybook breakfast at epcot...

gigi1313, I was using the 407-wdw-dine # and I started at 1 minute before 7 and I got the closed message. I hit redial and at 30 seconds before I got in the que. but the ?, i think I will try to bypass all the ? and not reply and see what happens tonight!

Thanks for the help. I will probably look into the one at Norway if all else fails.

I second what ttichenor wrote about the thread on the restaurant board. I think they even have which numbers to hot for the various options so you don't have to listen to them all. If not there, check allearsnet.com as that may be where I saw it. If you still are unable to find that information, post this question on the restaurants board as that is probably where you'll get a quick response - I didn't get a CRT PS but I've read many posts on that board and those ladies (and gentlemen) seem like pros at it. Some even get family and friends to try calling to increase the chances of success.

The new trick is hit 1 and 1 again and you should bypass the questions. You should of practiced. Hope this helps. You can also go on the Dining Boards. There is a thread at top for this Breakfast.

I tried the Disney Dine Line and was put on hold. I knew I had to get thru some other way as time was running out, so I called one of the general reservation number at 407-934-7639. I had to go thru a couple of prompts but to my surprise I got thru right away to a CM and they said they could make dinner reservations for me. I was able to get my reservation! Do not use the dine line I think everyone floods this line. Use one of the general WDW lines for making your dining reservation. Another tip is don't be fussy about what time they give you if they check for a preferred time you might loose the one their on right now, just ask for the earlies time they have if you're looking to enter the park before everyone else. I would not want the 7:00 a.m. time slot becuase it seems that most of the Disney Transportation doesn't run that early in the morning. You would need to catch a taxi if you don't have your own transportation. I hope this helps.

I'm gonna try again this morning. It is 5 a.m. and I'm sitting here with all this info waiting to call (6 a.m. our time). I used the 1 407=WDW-Dine # yesterday, and was prepared to tell them 1st available seating.

Disney Girl #1 Dinner does not have the princesses just the breakfast does. Also if you are onsite there is Disney transportation that starts at 6:30am called a specialty bus. So you will not need your own transportaion for Breakfast. Also those of you wanting breakfast need to call the dining # at 7am maybe a few minutes earlier if you want your Breakfast.

I give up! I'm out of tries. Yesterday the CM at group dining told me to use the # key for every question. Just keep hitting it. Thats the trick she told me. Well it didn't work!
I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'll try Norway or the dinner at the GF.

Another option that I'm planning to try is to call within 2 days of the date I want to go to CRT. Since people must cancel no later than 48 hours before their PS time or pay for the meal, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll luck into a PS available because of a cancellation.

Of course, I'm keeping the PSB and 1900 Park Fare PSs just in case

You might try calling back every now and then to see if there have been any cancellations. Might be a longshot, but it might work!

Our last trip I was crazed to get in the castle and call EXACTLY at 7:00 with no luck. This time I didnt even bother, and by chance I called for another PS and asked them to check and what luck, there was a PS opening!!!! and it is less than 90days till our trip.
If you do get in over the phone, be prepared with your CC. They actually charge your card 10 adult and 5/kid! Also you will need id to get in-- it is more security than the pentagon!!

It is all a matter of luck.

I do know that the castle holds a "limited" number for walk-ins, so your best bet would be to go on early entry days and try for a walk in spot.
