I have reservations for the Gale Feast 1900 park fare, Is this a buffet?? What was your favorite meal there?? :flower:

we had dinner there and it was a buffet. But a dang good one too. Prime rib my DH loved. My kids loved the make your own sundaes and uncrustables. The mini key lime pies were yummy. DD loved the alfredo. I don't think there was anything bad there.

It is one of our family's favorite character meals (both breakfast and dinner). The food is quite good and the characters tend to come around more than once. Some characters are out in the foyer to greet you as you come in. We always do character breakfast on each of our trips, but they really seem to be rushed. 1900 Park Fare is much more relaxed. We have celebrated one of my dd's birthday's there and really enjoyed it. I love getting to visit with Prince Charming!

:sunny: Thanks, at first I was very upset I really want it CRT, but looks like this one is a good choice too,I was looking at the menu and they offer the strawberry soup I heard is good.

Our last trip, we did PSB breakfast in Epcot, then 1900 Park Fare for dinner later in the week. My princess: (then 4yrs) and princess: (22 months) loved both. Older DD really liked the 1900 Park Fare. It was late in our trip (we left the next day), and we were seated close nough to the buffet (which was great!) that we could let DD1 go by herself yet never lose sight of her! She was so proud of being a big girl!!

Your princess: princess: will love it!

This trip we were lucky enough (thanks to mom (me!) getting up before 4am) to get CRT, so we are passing on the PSB and Gala Feast this time. Then again, we are only repeating 1 restaurant on our upcoming trip and that is our traditional Chef Mickey's on arrival day!!

DD and I did this in April on our Mommy Daughter trip and it was WONDERFUL! The food was excellent- All kinds- and the children's buffet was great too! Character interaction was AWESOME! I hope you enjoy it! We did! :flower:

We have dinner ARs (Chef Mickey's only serves b-fast and dinner). I have found on the boards here that CM is a love/hate thing. We really enjoyed it. It definitely wasn't the best meal we ate all week, but the food was good (both adult and kids buffets), character interation was awesome (DD2 who was 22 months was totally fascinated and bit Chip in the nose, then kissed Donald). I would rate ir a solid B leaning towards B+.

Hi
I am having my wedding at 1pm at the Yacht Club in February 2006.
Do you think the Gala feast would be suitable for lunch following the ceremony?
Janine

Oooh, I have pictures of this buffet! I'll make a post, have to resize my pictures first.....

Great, the more pictures i see the better. I just can't make my mind up on lunch.
