Can I still book the Cinderella Dinner at the Floridian in advance if I'm staying at an offsite hotel? We are thinking about doing the dinner the first nightwe get there so the kids can see the princesses. Then we won't start using our park passes until the next day. Hate to waste a day off the pass when we aren't going to get in until afternoon.

If we do the dinner can we get to the hotel without going on site? What would be the best way to get there if we are staying in a hotel near downtown disney?

TIA for any help!!

anyone can book a ps for a meal, it doesn't matter if you are an onsite guest or not.

Not sure what this means. If mean will you have to use a day on your tickets, the answer in no, because the meal is not inside one of the parks.

Are you near DD or staying at one of the hotels at DD?
If staying at a DD hotel, if thye dod not provide transportation, then just walk over to DD and take a bus (or drive to the GF)

If not within walking distance of DD, you'll probably want to drive, unless the hotel offers transportation a couple of hours after your PS time.

I am not sure, but maybe you should check with the priority seating person about whether you need to use a day on your tickets. I live in he Orlando area and when I have made reservations at any of the restaurants they will tell you that you are responsible for park admission. The Cinderella dinner is in the Castle inside the Magic Kingdom. Dinner shows, etc. that are at the resorts, of course do not require a park admission. Just my two cents :D

The Cinderella dinner is not in the Castle in the MK. It is not in any park. It is at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort. You do not need park admittence to go into a hotel.

Ahh is this something new? I had never heard of that - to me the Cinderella charector dinner inside the Castle is the Cinderella dinner ;)

I don't think there has ever been a Cinderella Character Dinner inside the Castle. There is a Character Breakfast inside the castle.

The Dinner at 1900 PF is new (As far as Cinderella Characters) it just started Mid Jan.

If your objective is to see more princesses, try the breakfast at Cinderella's Castle or the Storybook breakfast in Epcot. Unfortunately, I believe both require park admission.

We have gone to the Dinner at the Castle (several years ago) and more recently the breakfast. Both times Cinderella was there and her Godmother (also they greeted us in the lobby! Belle was there, and I know Peter pan etc... They were great by the way!! Loads of fun!!!

Thanks sha_lyn that's just what I neede to know!

We will probably stay in Downtown Disney. This seemed like a good option for the kids to feel they have arrived at Disney without using our passes for a partial day. If we can take the Downtown Disney bus to the Grand Floridian that would be perfect.

kwinkle .. the fairy god mother and Cinderella has been known to hang out in the lobby during other meals. Are you saying that there were several characters upstair going around to the tables at Dinner?

You mean at the character breakfast right, not at dinner.

The first time we ate in the Castle for dinner - has to be close to 16 years ago or so there were charactors upstairs. Have not been to dinner there since then. Breakfast we have been twice.
