Hi, I have read the BBB thread about the costumes and sizes available but does anyone know if WDW has a cinderella costume that would fit my almost two year old? If the dresses run small maybe the XXS would fit but do they sell smaller sizes like 24 months? We will be there Oct 25-Nov1 and I would prefer to get her costume there rather than purchase before we go.

I think you would probably be okay with the XXS, unless she is pretty small for her age. I tried to buy a Cinderella outfit for my 19 month old before we left and couldn't find anything small enough (I didn't want to pay WDW prices). I ended up buying her a size 4-6X dress up dress at Kmart. I hemmed it and pleated the neck and it fit pretty well when I was done with it. As she grows, I can lower the hem and take the pleats back out of the neck so she can wear it for a long time.

That is fantastic that you are able to do that, but unfortunately I can barely sew a button on! :goodvibes

The XXS is a 2T-3T. That should be fine for a 24 month fit. I bought an XXS Iridessa for my 20 month old and it fit great! She currently wears an 18 month, so it's good for them to "grow into". Disney tends to take that into consideration in their design. When they actually fit it, it's not supposed to be floor-length.

Thank you! That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. My dd also wears 18 months (some tops 24 months) so it should fit. I am glad to hear they are not floor length because I don't want her to trip over it.

my DD is small for her age and the XXS was too long for her last year, she kept tripping. Instead she went as Alice in wonderland. The dress is shorter (mid calf) and is absolutely adorable. It's just another choice if the xxs is too big. Plus she was the only Alice and got so many comments on the costume because no one had seen an Alice.
Plus now she plays dress up in costume. It was so worth the money.

I would bring a roll of double stick tape along. If the dress is too long once you get it, you can 'hem' it with a line of double stick tape. It is quick and no sew :) I would tack it in place in a few spots (just like sewing on the button), to make sure it didn't fall, but you might be able to get away without it.
